The new U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, vowed Friday to overhaul the U.N., sometimes known as the dictator’s club. She warned U.S. allies that if they do not support Washington, then she is “taking names” and will respond.
She was at the U.N. to present her credentials.
Donald Trump has described the U.N. as a body that gets nothing done. Some of us believe they do that to hold back progress on issues like human rights.
A recent tweet from Donald Trump describing it a good time club, though viewed as accurate by many, was not received well by the U.N.
The United Nations has such great potential but right now it is just a club for people to get together, talk and have a good time. So sad!

Trump sent the tweet after the anti-Israel resolution passed. The U.N. sent a tweet in respond listing ten things they do for the poor.
Nikki Haley said the value of the U.N. is to have the backs of our allies and visa versa. If not, the U.S. will take names.
“Our goal with the administration is to show value at the U.N. and the way that we’ll show value is to show our strength, show our voice, have the backs of our allies and make sure that our allies have our back as well,” Haley said.
“For those that don’t have our back, we’re taking names, we will make points to respond to that accordingly,” added Republican President Donald Trump’s U.N. envoy.
The allies abandoned our ally Israel at the U.N. If they can abandon one ally, who’s to say they can be trusted to support any ally?
She made her point though the media is portraying the former South Carolina as too inexperienced, They will find her to be far tougher and more astute than the perennially whiney Samantha Power.
French U.N. Ambassador Francois Delattre and British U.N. Ambassador Matthew Rycroft said they looked forward to working with Haley. The United States, Britain and France, along with Russia and China, are permanent veto-wielding members of the U.N. Security Council.
President Trump made it clear this week that the U.S. will downsize its role in the U.N. It will affect funding. The communism disguised as globalism and climate change will be pared down.
