Barack Obama, the president who won’t ever go away, was interviewed by Steve Kroft of CBS News. Obama blamed talk radio and fake news for undermining our democracy. As a side note, when the president talks about “democracy”, he means socialist democracy. He tried hard to remake the United States into one.
Our President still hopes to destroy the few right-wing outlets that exist. The right-wing resisted his takeover.
Rush Still Lives Rent-Free in Obama’s Head
Steve Kroft asked Obama if two unpopular candidates running for president wasn’t an indication something serious was wrong. Obama swung right into an attack on talk radio.
“It indicates that there is a lot of cynicism out there. It indicates that the corrosive nature of everything from talk radio to fake news to negative advertising has made people lack confidence in a lot of our existing institutions. I think it-it indicates, at least on the Democratic side, that we’ve got more work to do to strengthen our grassroots networks.”
He continued with a phony nod to the tea party, the same tea party he did his best to destroy. “In some ways, the Democratic Party hadn’t constructed itself to get that message out to the places it needed to get to. The tea party I have huge disagreements with, obviously. But I give them credit for having activated themselves. And they made a difference in terms of moving the-the Republican Party, in-in terms of moving the country in a particular direction. It’s a direction I disagreed with. But it showed that, in fact, you get involved, if your voice is heard, it-it has an impact.”
Obama is obviously not talking about left-wing radio or left-wing news though Buzzfeed, The Washington Post, the NY Times, CNN, and other left-wing outlets are the real fake news.
There are very few outlets representing the right-wing and these control freaks on the left want to silence them. As Rush Limbaugh says, “I’m living rent-free in his head.” Obama has been after Rush since day one.

With Trump Tweeting, Obama Found a New Target
Trump tweets often, circumventing the media by doing it. It must drive Obama nuts. Twitter came up during the interview. Getting news from Twitter, “there’s a real danger in that,” he said.
The real danger is listening to him.
Obama has repeatedly demonized talk radio and on occasion, he mentions Rush Limbaugh. It has been that way since he became president.
In December, Obama said, “And today, anybody with access to a website has an opinion. … The Republicans are only concerned about what’s on Fox News or what Rush Limbaugh’s saying and the Democrats are looking at the New York Times or Huffington Post.”
Rush’s answer was classic Rush. “So Obama comes into office telling Republicans that they can’t listen to Rush Limbaugh anymore and get things done. That’s just not how it happens in Washington. And he’s leaving office, having failed to remove one of his main impediments from his equation, and that would be me. So after eight years Obama comes into office with me living rent free in his head and I’m still there as he prepares to exit. We think as he prepares to exit. You notice, “Yeah, we want the good old days when it was just ABC, CBS, NBC, New York Times, Washington Post, ’cause everybody was working off the same set of facts.”
