Gang members fired on two officers with high-powered weapons this week in the hellhole that is Chicago. Police are out-manned and out-gunned, according to community leaders. The gangbangers are also willing to kill police.
Mayor Rahm Emanuel has the answer. He will provide mentors to gangbangers. He also thinks he can create more jobs, something he hasn’t done yet and which can’t be as lucrative as drug dealing or as much fun as crime is for these people.
Recently Emanuel met with Jeff Sessions and his spokesperson summarized the meeting.

For all the gun control in Chicago, they are very lax on gun prosecutions.
One of Rahm’s previous great ideas was to declare streets on the route to schools as ‘no-gun zones’. That worked as you would expect – badly.
