Democrats don’t think the ills plaguing the nation are the top concern, nor do they care much about Iran, North Korea, China, Russia, and a country divided. They don’t care about what happened to ISIS this week (see below). What they care about are Trump’s tax returns! She needs the tax returns to help her impeachment efforts so she can continue the unabated march toward Socialism.
We know she said she’s not interested in impeachment. That’s likely true. She’s interested in the process, the far more destructive process they are engaged in.
House Democrats claim they have “legitimate” reasons to obtain President Trump‘s tax returns. When asked if they will release their own, including Nancy Pelosi, they say they will not. Instead, they “will take all necessary steps” to get their hands on Trump’s, Speaker Nancy Pelosi‘s (D-Calif.) office said Friday.
“Every day the American people and Congress learn more about President Trump’s improprieties, from conflicts of interest to influence peddling, potential tax evasion and violations of the Constitution – all roads leading back to President Trump’s finances,” Pelosi spokeswoman Ashley Etienne said in a statement.

“These improprieties and the lack of transparency around them give the House legitimate legislative, oversight and legal reasons to review the President’s tax returns.”
“We will take all necessary steps, including litigation, if necessary, to obtain them,” she added. “Given President Trump’s recalcitrance, the committees with jurisdictional and legislative equities are working with the Ways and Means Committee to ensure the House is able to present the strongest possible case.”
What improprieties — they don’t have any, they are fishing.
THEY HAVE NOTHING YET BUT ACT AS IF THEY DO
This is a follow up to the Cohen abomination of a hearing, which Democrats are proud of and which the media promoted.
They believe everything the perjurer — who lied during the testimony — says, except where he says there was no collusion and he didn’t go to Prague. His alleged visit to Prague — not stamped in his passport — was the cornerstone of the fake dossier. They also don’t believe him when he said there is no pee tape.
Cohen claimed Trump is a racist, but with all the taping he’s done, he never caught him saying anything racist. When (black) Lynne Patton stood up for the President, having been invited into the hearing by Rep. Meadows, they were both vilified by America-hating Socialist Rashida Tlaib.
In fact, there is a strong possibility that Cohen turned because Robert Mueller threatened to send his wife to prison for thirty years.
