Perhaps It Wasn’t a Good Idea for the Salvation Army to Call Donors Racists

The Salvation Army in Seattle is facing a shortage of toys and donations ahead of the holiday season and urges communities to find a way to help.

The nonprofit reports it gets 75% of total annual donations during November and December, and they are desperately in need of support.

“There are many reasons why both financial and toy donations are down this year, not the least of which is likely pandemic fatigue and concerns about employment and the future,” said Colonel Cindy Foley of the NW Salvation Army Division. “We are actually trying to provide food, shelter, toys and clothing to double the number of families we served last Christmas, and in the midst of the growing need we are seeing fewer people donating at our virtual and physical kettles.”

“The situation is dire,” they say. They need bell-ringers too.

It might also be the fact that they called all their white donor racists. The Salvation Army has gone full SJW. The Alexandria office put out a manual in which they state that Christianity is inherently racist, and that white people need to “lament, repent and apologize for biases or racist ideologies held and actions committed.”

They withdrew the manual but they are still SJWs.

I donated directly to the Marines Toys for Tots and local charities with needed items and money. Why should I donate to the Salvation Army who wants to insult me and others for being white? I used to donate at least $500 every year. Now they can panhandle in some biased liberal rainbow ghetto and find out what the old adage; “You don’t bite the hand that feeds you,” actually means. They can call us white privileged, supremists and racists, and find out what a back lash feels like.

The “kettle” will have to ‘boil’ without me, at least this year for sure…

I’m all tapped out due to the Bidenflation.
Sold some of the last of the corporate logo gear at the second hand clothing store and bought groceries.
Sorry, call on Uncle Joe, he’s got your Sugar Daddy needs and Yellen has a HAL 9000 printing press ready to go.
Even if there was some to spare it wouldn’t be going for the salary of some diversity Bolshevik parasite.
Pay forward or let the churches handle charity as it should be.
A kind store patron paid for an elder’s groceries today at the Sack-N-Save and it was $50 worth.
May good tidings and blessings come their way.

I do not believe a word they say. Maybe donations are down, I hope so, but he admits they want to double their service. Why would donations be down this year compared to last year, when the scam panic was well underway? Notice that no figures are given. I ignore adjectives.

Attacking your donors when you want to double donations is a contradiction.

If they want my money ever again, they fire the executives.
