Pete Hegseth was confirmed this evening despite Liz Warren’s last-minute salacious gossip. All Democrats were opposed, and three Republicans voted against him.
Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Susan Collins (R-ME), and Mitch McConnell (R-KY) voted against Mr. Hegseth. All three voted for Biden’s choice, Lloyd Austin.
Hegseth could only lose three votes with Vice President Vance stepping in. Republicans control the Senate 53-47. Hegseth was approved 51-50, with Vance casting the deciding vote.
Collins and Murkowski were always a “no” and are barely Republican. As for Mitch, he’s a RINO backstabber.

Mitch McConnell and Susan Collins are in the Senate until 2027. Lisa (installed in the Senate by her dad) Murkowski’s term is up in 2029. We need to start recalling these RINOs today!
Per Paladin’s comment below. Primary all three of the GOP carpetbaggers.
Somebody ought to slap the shit out of McConnell. Those Kentucky folks must be loaded up on bourbon to vote for two opposites. Rand Paul and Mitch McConnell.
Primary all 3! Get them OUT!
Primary the women. They’re long known party burdens. As for Turtle, isn’t there a way to recall him? He’s long past his expiration date in politics and it could get rid of him sooner.
You can but Alaska has that ranked voting , That’s how she made it last time. Go back to party primary and winner wins with no second choice
