As Mayor Bill de Blasio made his way to a press conference to address the brutal murder of two police officers, he walked down the hospital corridors through a throng of police officers who then turned their backs to him.
They did so because of his repeated disregard for law enforcement and because of his support of the very rioters/”peaceful protesters” who helped create the tumultuous situation in New York City today. Instead of shutting down the riots and the hate-mongering, he encouraged it all.
All the crazies are being ramped up by our leaders. Our leaders are nudging the people on the edge.
He, the media, and his friend Al Sharpton created the storm that led to their deaths.
The police did the exactly right thing turning their backs to de Blasio. He needs to be sent a message and he needs to turn around his behavior.
Early Saturday, Ismaaiyl Brinsley, 28-years old, shot and wounded his ex-girlfriend, then publicly posted his intentions to murder police officers to avenge the death of Michael Brown and Eric Garner. He then made his way to Bedford Stuyvesant where, like a craven coward, he snuck up on two police officers, Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos, while they were sitting in their patrol car. He shot them multiple times, killing them. He shot them in the head and face according to some accounts.
Before he shot them, he told two bystanders to watch what he does. His mother is reportedly distraught and was unaware of his social media rants.
Mr. Liu was 32 years old and married two months ago. Mr. Ramos just turned 40 and had two children. His 13-year old son can’t understand what happened. His son posted this on his Facebook page: ‘Today I had to say bye to my father. He was there for me every day of my life, he was the best father I could ask for. It’s horrible that someone gets shot dead just for being a police officer.’
The officers didn’t even have the opportunity to pull out their guns.
According to an arrest sheet for Brinsley from 2007 in Georgia, his middle name is Abdullah. In that incident, Brinsley was accused of criminal trespass. He speaks Arabic and is a Muslim. Police officials have already stated that he did not appear to have ties to any radical group.
Brinsley did paraphrase a quote from Farrakahn’s November “We’ll tear this G_d d@man country apart” speech – “They take 1 of ours, let’s take 2 of theirs.”
Brinsley killed to avenge the death of Michael Brown and Eric Garner by his own words on Instagram.
These murders follow an attack on police officers two months ago in which a jihadist slammed an axe down on an officer’s head. The officer is still recovering.
Mayor de Blasio has not been supportive of the police during the riots that preceded this double murder.
This murder followed weeks of riots and protests and the closing of the Brooklyn Bridge by angry dissidents with an Al Sharpton group marching to the chant, “What do we want? Dead Cops! When do we want it? Now!” The group came with the Al Sharpton group.
They looked and sounded like NAZIs.
Did we hear one word of condemnation from de Blasio, Sharpton or Obama at the time? I didn’t hear it.
Mayor de Blasio gave a press conference on Eric Garner’s death early this month during which he threw the police under the bus. He talked about how he taught his son – as a mixed-race boy – to fear the police because of supposed racial profiling.
The police union has responded to de Blasio on several occasions including handing out an “opt-out” form that would allow officers to request de Blasio not attend their funeral should they die in the line of duty
Watch one response:
Last week, there was an incident in which two police lieutenants were beaten by about six to seven violent protesters on the Brooklyn Bridge as they attempted to prevent a man from throwing a garbage can on officers below. It was on video but Comrade De Blasio still referred to the incident as the “alleged beating.”
One of the men who beat the officers was an SEIU official. SEIU is led by communists.
De Blasio did not support the police, he only talked about retraining them, though he did say this evening, “Our entire city was attacked by this heinous individual.”
It’s too little too late.
Al Sharpton has been railing against the police for months, stirring the pot. As in the Crown Heights riots spurred by Sharpton years ago, which ended in the death of a young Jewish man, his latest riots/protests resulted in death – the deaths of two police officers.
He now claims to be appalled by the deaths.
Barack Obama invited some of the Ferguson rioters/protesters to the White House to discuss police reform. They are the startup group for what Mr. Obama wants to be a national movement.
One of the invitees was Bassem al-Masri who can be seen in the video below responding to the deaths of the two officers:
Eric Holder is offering support where there was none before, only suspicion and recrimination. The officers are dead. His offer of help is too late. What is he going to do now?
Former New York City Police Commissioner Bernie Kerik said this murder of two innocent police officers while they merely sat in their police cars was encouraged by Mayor Bill de Blasio and the Rev. Al Sharpton – “de Blasio, Sharpton and all those who encouraged this anti-cop, racist mentality all have blood on their hands,” he said. “They have blood on their hands.”
“What I want to see is a day of outrage,” he told Jeanine Pirro on her Fox News program. “I want to see protests for the two cops that are lying dead tonight.
“I want to see those protests.”
We need to do this. We need to protest. The police need a show of support. How can we expect them to do their jobs under the conditions that Comrade de Blasio and Al Sharpton have established – conditions supported by our president and Attorney General?
As the officers’ bodies were taken from the hospital by ambulance, in a bittersweet gesture, their fellow officers and the NYFD saluted:
Another potential killer brought out by our horrendous leadership might be on the loose.
Update: 12/22/14: Both murdered officers were working overtime to protect the people in the community. Two buildings have a kind of Hatfield and McCoy battle going on between them and officers have been volunteering for overtime to sit in their cars on the corners surrounding the buildings to help the people and keep them from being harmed.
The family of Mr. Ramos said de Blasio is welcomed to the funeral but de Blasio has not responded nor has he visited either family of the fallen police officers.
Ramos’ family has forgiven the murderer. They said that is what Mr. Ramos would have wanted.
Officer Ramos was slated to be a chaplain and was a very religious man.
Mr. Liu was recently asked by a friend why he was an officer. “I know that being a cop is dangerous but I must do it,” Officer Liu replied, the friend said. “If I don’t do it and you don’t do it, then who is going to do it?”
Mr. Liu married two months ago. His widow is described as “in bed” and “inconsolable”. The parents are”completely distraught” and can’t eat. They keep saying in Mandarin, “My son is gone.”
Both men were described as very well-liked and good men.
Most of the people stand with the police who risk their lives for us every day even if the lunatics are rioting and the administration don’t.
