Several minutes after initially taking the podium, someone – who appeared to be a Secret Service agent – told the president something before Trump stopped and walked out of the room.
“Excuse me?” the president said to the agent before exiting.
The President said on leaving the Briefing Room, he was taken to the Oval Office, not the bunker. He said he waited a few minutes until the Secret Service said it was safe for him to return to the Briefing Room, where the windows overlook the North Lawn and fenceline.
The president returned and said it “seems” a person was shot by Secret Service and has been taken to the hospital.
There is reportedly no threat to the Capitol.

I see the reporters aren’t so snarky today, almost “respectful”. Is THAT what it takes to get “civility” from the WH Press corps. Trump is willing to stay and answer questions if it isn’t an all out attack. This was the longest briefing in a while, no doubt civility makes all the difference.
Would any other President come back to a briefing like nothing just happened.
When Channel asked her question about ‘coverup’ did that cameraman hurt his neck snapping around to look at her.
Interesting. Mike Cernovich stated that #InterruptTrump was trending well before the briefing started.
That is interesting about what Cernovich stated…. I surmise that the left will keep up this stuff and other things till the election….we must VOTE!
Interesting what Cernovich said. I think this kind of thing will continue till the election by the left.
I wouldn’t doubt if the media was in on it….they are ruthless and most of them hate the President.
