President Donald Trump supports Elon Musk’s visa policies. He employs H-1B visa recipients. This is as a battle rages online against H-1B visas.

President-elect Donald Trump told The New York Post on Saturday that he supports H-1B visas, weighing in on a key issue that has caused a rift within his Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement.

“I’ve always liked the visas, I have always been in favor of the visas. That’s why we have them,” Trump told The Post in a phone interview on Saturday.

“I have many H-1B visas on my properties. I’ve been a believer in H-1B. I have used it many times. It’s a great program,” he said.

Trump says he supports them for “highly skilled workers.”

This might quell the civil war over the H-1Bs. However, Steve Bannon and Laura Loomer have come out strongly against them.

Giving him the benefit of the doubt, he apparently has changed his mind and forgot what he said in 2016. He was opposed to them.

In 2016, he opposed them.

The illegals follow the path of the visa holders who both overstay, get jobs,… Read more »

Yes they are. Companies want cheaper labor; labor they can exploit.

Let’s develop our own citizens so we don’t rely on H-1B visa’s for highly skilled labor. To do this we need the woke and progressive garbage out of our educational, vocational, and training systems. And let’s leave plug and play to the computer and keep it out of our employment practices. There are too many untapped resources right here at… Read more »

I lost my job to one of these H-!B people. I trained my own replacement unbeknownst to me for over 2 months. Came to work and he was sitting at my desk and my stuff just thrown in two boxes, and the boss wanted to see me, actually the owner. I was given a months salary and told I was… Read more »

Either Trump’s got to lose Elon–send him packing–or face a wide spread conclusion that he’s been scamming his base. These visas put citizens a distant last and are the antithesis of MAGA–pretty much in the same category as DEI Woke. Keep it up a bit longer and people will turn on him. It looks awfully like he’s in Musk’s (whose… Read more »

Are the products of our universities capable of competing with the visa crowd? This does not speak well for academia.

Yes they absolutely can compete. They’re using HB-1 for cheaper labor. It’s garbage and Trump had better change his tune and fast. Contact your House member and Senators.
