Abdul El-Sayed is a Democratic candidate for governor who hasn’t been nominated yet but is already being talked about as a presidential candidate for 2020. He’s nice looking and affable, a second generation Egyptian-American, and he will likely win the Democratic nomination.
Some have reported that he is funded by George Soros but so far the only ties are a Columbia University fellowship he was offered by George’s perfectly awful late brother Paul Soros.
He is said to have the full backing of America’s powerful Muslim Brotherhood-linked network of Islamic organizations, according to WND. Linda Sarsour, the Hamas mouthpiece in the U.S.A., urged the Muslim Brotherhood linked ISNA to donate to Dr. Abdul El-Sayed. She attacked “establishment Democrats” who, she said, had blocked Muslims from succeeding within the Democratic Party in the past, and said that El-Sayed would change that, according to Breitbart. This is available on video.
Progressive Muslim
Doctor El-Sayed, head of Detroit’s health department, is a devout Muslim and a leftist – a Progressive as his platform makes clear. He wants Michigan to become a “sanctuary state” for undocumented immigrants.

Ignoring the fact that sanctuary cities are illegal and protect criminals, he said: It’s important to me we are not breaking up families wantonly,” El-Sayed told the Detroit News, “and also not breaking up full-on economies and industries in our state because of the whims of one guy who realized he could come to power by vilifying people who are a little bit browner than everyone else.”
“The state is not going to invest its own dollars, its own police force, its own corrections money equipping and empowering what seems to be questionable and often dispassionate enforcement of laws and policies that are unclear at best,” he told the Detroit News.
Also of interest is the fact that he is a supporter of government healthcare and will establish a public option if the federal government doesn’t.
He misled people on the Flint water crisis
El-Sayed put almost all of the blame for the Flint water crisis on Rick Snyder, the Republican governor, though the local Democratic politicians and the EPA covered it up and were mostly responsible.
Democrats also blamed environmental racism, stoking the fears of the largely African-American residents. El-Sayed is said to be a warrior for environmental justice.
The EPA knowingly planned to let residents drink the polluted water through 2016. They knew of the problem but didn’t say a word. They sat on lead test results.
In February 2015, months before the contamination was exposed, an EPA water expert named Miguel Del Toral identified potential problems in Flint’s drinking water. He confirmed his suspicions in April and summarized the crisis in a June internal memo. The memo was kept under wraps by EPA Midwest chief Susan Hedman, and the analyst was forbidden from making his finding public.
The former Democrat mayor, Dayne Walling, is also not getting the criticism he deserves. Walling was the one who moved the city to river water to save money. Flint’s city council voted for it 7 to 1 even though they didn’t need to vote – it could have been done without a vote. It was purely political by the all-Democratic government in Flint.
The Flint city council includes a convicted killer, a man who served probation for felonious assault and two people who have gone through personal bankruptcies. They have not put the peoples’ interests first.
Snyder was removed from the corruption and it wasn’t about money the governor doles out.
Yet, this new Democrat contender for high office is already misleading people.
Some people are also concerned about his background given the changes in some areas of Michigan, mostly in Dearborn.
The biggest Mosque in America is in Dearborn, the store signs are written in Arabic, the schools require special menus for the children, and many women walk around in full Muslim garb and are not permitted to speak with men.
