The Republicans in Congress have betrayed the majority of their voters. In the continuing resolution – the spending bill – they’ve continued the Democrat agenda fully and put in nothing that Donald Trump wanted. They have concluded that Trump has to sign it or else he alone will be responsible for a government shutdown.
The Republicans aren’t just worried about a government shutdown, they agree with the Democrats. All of them live in the Progressive D.C. bubble. Â What’s more, the Republican Congress is filled with NeverTrumpers who will do nothing to help Trump and his team succeed.

What is not in the bill is defunding of sanctuary cities and Planned Parenthood. The border wall is not in the bill and worse, read on.
The bloated government is completely funded – no one will be fired and there will be no cuts to the EPA. The Central American Immigration Centers will remain open. Obamacare subsidies will continue.
In addition, new restrictions are in this bill, precluding even the possibility of building the wall.
The Washington Post reported:
“There are explicit restrictions to block the border wall. We knew last week there would be no money to start construction on a project that the president says is more important to his base than anything else. But the final agreement goes further, putting strict limitations on how Trump can use new money for border security (e.g. to invest in new technology and repair existing fencing). Administration officials have insisted they already have the statutory authority to start building the wall under a 2006 law. This prevents such an end run.”
The $1.07 trillion spending package only goes through until September. It means the exorbitant spending that will eventually destroy this country will continue. This is only one portion of the budget which will be closer to $4 trillion.
“Democratic leaders praised the effort” according to Fox News which tells you all you need to know.
Democrat votes are needed to pass the spending bill because Republicans won’t go against them in any way. There is the next election you know! Are we to wait for yet another election for Republicans to follow through on their promises?
Nothing decent will get through this Congress even though Republicans are in charge.
This deal is the same deal that was passed under Obama’s watch. Nothing has changed with Republicans in control because they are answerable to others outside the electorate.
The Democrats won the election in essence. WaPo even wrote about how Trump got “rolled”.
The lobbyists, media, and other moneyed interests are likely in charge, not our elected officials. Our votes don’t matter.
The budget does not make our economy and our culture better, it makes life better for the people just mentioned in the previous paragraph. Our politicians are servants of a globalist D.C. elite.
Bernie Sanders isn’t totally wrong about the evil rich but he only talks about bankers and Wall Street, leaving out wealthy media and other industries. It’s not Capitalism’s fault either. It’s big government’s fault. Government’s handmaidens have corrupted the system, establishing a crony D.C.-Wall Street relationship. It’s so big the electorate can no longer have an effect on it.
