Resist! Save Parler!

Google and Apple are the only two app services in the world.

Google has removed Parler, and Amazon is threatening to take their website down. Apple has given Parler 24 hours to implement A moderation plan or the application will be removed from the App Store.

The CEO, John Matzke responded to Apple last night: We will not respond to pressure from anti-competitive actors. We will and have always enforced our rules against violence and illegal activity. But we WON’T cave to politically motivated companies and those authoritarians who hate free speech.

It reminds me of an IT contractor, who eventually got a job with the company, who asked me HOW I could be Conservative. She couldn’t understand how ANYONE who was tech savvy would NOT be liberal. It REALLY stuck with me because the natural inclination is, What the Hell does TECH have to do with politics.

I wonder who that person was.

As soon as I trace Parler’s site to Amazon I feared what would come next. They would have a good Anti-Trust case against Google and Apple but it takes time and money, plenty of it. That alone could be enough to wipe out the company even though this is precisely the reason for that Act.

Gab does have their own servers but they are still at the mercy of the Domains. The IP address has to be registered with DNS servers and if they prohibit it you’re out of luck. I have a domain at Verio and they control that account. Everyone, literally everyone is at the mercy of Tech oligarchs.

People all over cheered when that neo-Nazi domain was taken down but that was a sign to come. We all thought the Skokie case was abhorrent when Courts ruled they could march. In the end the streets were lined with protestors against THEM. Afterwards, we never heard from the group again. In fact, the numbers of the group declined over the years.

The comrades believe that they are entitled to your personal data.
The local budget shopper closeout store gets surly when I decline their loyalty card offer with the I have no email or sailfawn (cellphone).
It is the truth and not just the default surliness.
When they get snappy I say that is so flattering that you take time out to focus on little ol’ me but I am not worth it.
Almost time to go through family’s old short hand textbooks from teaching days and learn it or maybe some Latin.
Keep comms local and keep the enemy out of your comms.

Big Tech Bolsheviks=intelligence agencies.

If you have to download an app, and supply a phone number, you shouldn’t be using the media.

The tech giants are really beginning to act like the monopoly Trusts and the robber barons back in the late 18 hundreds. They seem like different companies but in fact are collaborating covertly to form information monopoly and eliminate competitors. They are trying to bring down Parler so their Twitter,Facebook and other platforms wouldn’t have to face competition.
