Sentinel is experimenting with recording articles when possible based upon a reader’s recommendation. Let us know what you think.
“The key that I think I’m – you know, that President Trump has promised me is – is control of the public health agencies, which are HHS and its sub-agencies, CDC, FDA, NIH, and a few others, and then also the USDA, which is – which, you know, is key to making America healthy. Because we’ve got to get off of seed oils, and we’ve got to get off of pesticide-intensive agriculture,” Kennedy said, according to a video of the event obtained by CNN.
The CNN article then goes on to call him a conspiracy theorist.
However, controlling these bureaucrats sounds like a good idea to many Americans.
RFK is calling his movement MAHA, Make America Healthy Again.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.: “All of the institutions of our government have been captured by the industries that they’re supposed to regulate. The NIH, CDC, and FDA have been captured by the pharmaceutical industry and the medical cartel. People are making money on sick children and… pic.twitter.com/usTZ4Sfin1

Bill Ackman addresses the Trump-Musk administration. He suggests comparing JD Vance with Tim Walz, which speaks to what the Trump administration will look like. He also addresses the economic growth under Trump’s plan and the waste in the Biden-Harris’s administration.
He mentioned a book titled Bullsh*t Jobs, and we have a lot of them. Ackman is very excited about Musk’s role in making government efficient and raising the GDP.
Ackman also explains why you need a Trump-type president in the clip below.
.@BillAckman: “On Trump’s side, we have Elon Musk, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, and Vivek Ramaswamy. These are actually very, very capable people. Musk is focused on everything from regulation to government efficiency to waste and cutting costs. He’s obviously pretty… pic.twitter.com/K1Pkuurt09

Good! Give the old boy a chance. As long as he doesn’t try to tie gun control to it I’ll support him.
RFK doesn’t have enough executive experience (or swamp-busting chops) to successfully head any of those agencies. But he is honest, knowledgable and dedicated; and would be a credible and powerful spokesperson for their reform.
Kind of like the executive experience Obama had when he was President. I see your point!
Bingo! The leader sets the direction, gives the inspiration etc. A professional Chief of Staff or COO provides the executive know how. Ir is thesecond and third level of appointments that will determine sucess or failure. Those levels must not be party hacks but the best people thatcan be recruited throughout the country, often people that have no tie for the game playing of most politics. Many are former military officers who left for the private sector because of the way the Democrats have politicised the military. They love our country and have faithfully servedi the past. Same for the good FBI agents who left. A friend of mine moved from the FBI to a high executive position in a Fortune 100 company. Many of these have outstanding skillswe need to tap.
Kennedy needs to rid the food industry of High Fructose Corn Syrup.
The approach you suggest will not solve the basic problem. In a free economy if customers want sweets they will buy sweets and someone will provide the sweets for a profit. If we want to improve health it is goig to ivove massive education efforts.
I would hope that if Kennedy had HHS & USDAj that part of the reult would be needed education. We are people of habit. My grandfater chewed gum and I chewed gum, until I found a healtiier habit.
The problem can be solved by helping people learn healthier habits.
Diabetes is an epidemic. You can make “sweets” without high fructose corn syrup. Healthier humans were doing that for many centuries. Education is also a necessary component. Both ideas are valid.
