Russia Launches Kinzhal Hypersonic Weapons at Ukraine

On March 2nd,  the US and NATO attacked a couple of Russian villages using Ukrainian soldiers. They went into the villages, people were killed, and a 10-year-old boy was wounded. It looked like a provocation.

Since this is a proxy war, which even The Washington Post admits, it’s as if the US and NATO were trying to get us into WWIII.

Russia declared it a terrorist attack. On March 8th and 9th, Russia launched hypersonic weapons for the first time. Those missiles can’t be stopped with anything Ukraine has.

Russia said on Wednesday its missiles destroyed an ammunition warehouse for weapons donated by NATO alliance countries in Ukraine’s western Lviv region.

The defense ministry said some ammunition was to be used for U.S.-produced M777 howitzers, a type of artillery weapon.

Russia claims 300 were killed, and dozens of top NATO and Ukrainian officials were killed.

Snopes says it’s a blatant fabrication. It doesn’t seem evident to me that it’s a fabrication, and since no one is reporting it, it seems like it should be reported.

Correction; The title originally said it was the first time, but this is the first time it was this massive.

Russia launched 5 hypersonic missiles after the terrorist acts against Russian citizens. I’ve read that the bunker was 400 feet below ground and everyone in it at the time died.. I’ve read this story twice, once back in March and then again a few days ago. I cannot remember where I read it, thought it was on Zerhedge.. The Bunker was not the only thing destroyed but it had the highest value… The story continued saying by using 5 missiles it indicates Russia has stepped up production at a time when the US hypersonic tests have failed…The story also said Zelensky was filmed for something the day after the attack looking disheveled and stressed, according to the story he was supposed to have been in the bunker at the time of the attack. Zelensky made no mention of the attack.. Sorry for no link, I’ll keep looking and if I find it I’ll come back and post it….
But, Snopes has pretty much verified the story by branding it false…

One the characteristics of a Hyper-sonic Missile is high penetration. Like the “Rods of God” a Hyper-sonic Missile is mostly a Kinetic Weapon which would resemble a Large Meteor on Impact more than a bomb. Being primarily a Kinetic Impact Weapon, a Hyper-sonic Missile would be similar to a Large Battleship Shell (16 inch plus), but with far more range (1250 miles vs 20 Miles) and much more energy at Impact (Mach 10 plus vs Mach 2).

This is why there would be a News Blackout if Russia has perfected such a Weapon and is using it. It would have the impact of a Tactical Nuclear Device with Zero Radiation and no chance of Defense within the critical 12 Mile Red Zone Defensive envelope. Governments don’t normally tell it’s people the Enemy has a new and very powerful weapon for which we have no Defense! With Hyper-sonic Missiles, Russia wouldn’t need to use Tactical Nukes to get the results of a Tactical Nuke.

We know Russia has the Kh-47M2 Kinzhal Hyper-sonic Missile and Traitor Joe has all but said we can’t stop it. This is a weapon capable of taking out an Aircraft Carrier in a single strike, so it’s a Game Changer!

True but the accuracy of such a weapon on a target such as a ship may difficult to achieve given the speed its new I don’t think that is 100% yet.
But that is why China is making a mock up of a carrier in the desert on rails for them to practice on.

I distinctly remember a report (a few months back) about these so called hypersonic missiles already being use against Ukraine. So what gives here? MSM can’t keep the stories straight.

We were working on Hyper-sonic Missiles going back to the 1970s under Nixon. Carter gutted programs like that and Reagan went Star Wars. It’s been well known that both Russia and China stole the technology because we didn’t see it as viability going with Star Wars research. Our Military tends to only embrace leading edge “future” technology instead of “Cost Effective” Present day Technology.

China, and to some extent Russia, steals a lot of Technology at will from our Colleges because colleges don’t care about keeping secrets. After all, Colleges are in the business of dispensing Knowledge and keeping technological secrets just rubs Academics the wrong way.

As a result, Countries like China and Russia can just sent their scientist to American Colleges and as students they can acquire 20 or 30 years of research on older technology. So with very little investment Russia and China can advance these technologies on shoe string budgets. By making Hyper-sonic Missiles very maneuverable they have made them a Real Danger to US Assets. We once again concentrated too much efforts on the potential of future technologies which aren’t quite ready for prime time, instead of paying attention to old technology and perfecting it. Our present day “point blank” defenses are designed to defend against slow moving targets like cruise missiles and drones and are too slow to react against maneuverable threats traveling at over a mile a second.

A Hyper-sonic Missile at 100,000 feet and 20 miles out will take out a ship in less than 30 seconds, while a cruise missile 20 miles out will take over 2 minutes. Even 2 minutes is very hard to identify and target a Popup Bogey. When I was in the Navy, getting a Missile on the rail and fired in 2 minutes took a lot of training. Phalanx was a big improvement, but then that’s why Officers wear Khakis. Phalanx truly was point blank defense. Shooting down a Hyper-sonic Missile would be harder than shooting down a 16 inch shell fired from the USS Missouri. A Close-in Weapons System, like Phalanx, would have maybe 5 seconds to acquire and shoot down a Hyper-sonic Missile. Good Luck with that! Just the Kinetic Energy in the Shrapnel would take out a ship.
