Fox News is reporting that the Sacramento town fathers have $1.5 million set aside to pay gang members for a cease-fire. A new program called Advance Peace offers gang members cash stipends for graduating from school and generally staying out of trouble.
They are rushing the vote because….get this…the violence has become far more serious. Leftists don’t believe in enforcement so they go for pay-offs. It’s a protection racket.
The $1.5 million in cash stipends to gang members will come from the city’s general fund. A similar program is being used in Richmond, Calif., and Stockton is considering it.
The vote was …amazingly…unanimous.
“How’s the vote going to change anything? It’s up to the community to change. You know what I mean? It’s just senseless,” Allen Brown, a friend of Ernie Cadena, 49, who was killed in a park shooting Sunday where four were killed, told Fox 40.
This is the leftists’ idea of law and order.

Seattle does one better. They have ‘safe spaces’ for heroine and cocaine addicts to shoot up. They get the ‘good’ heroine and cocaine at taxpayer expense. Seattle is awash with overdoses and this is the solution from their far-left leaders. Police can’t do anything about it because the town fathers have basically legalized heroine and cocaine.
