A small village near Cincinnati, Ohio, is struggling with an influx of Mauritanian illegal immigrants, with officials warning that they are facing an economic shortfall as a result and that the quality of life is being affected.
“If you look at 2021 and 2022, the United States had seen a huge influx of immigrants from Mauritania. Somehow, a good number of them have landed in Lockland,” Lockland Village Administrator Doug Wehmeyer told Fox News Digital.
A June Washington Post analysis found that over 15,000 residents from Mauritania came to the U.S. last year, a 2,800% increase over 2022, when just 543 arrived. Lockland, a village in the southwest of Ohio of about 3,500 people, has seen what it says is a large number of arrivals. The Post reported that 2,700 settled in Ohio in 2023, with about half going to nearby Cincinnati.
Wehmeyer said that at least two of the nearby apartment complexes are overoccupied. Although each apartment should house four people, authorities are finding up to 12 people in each unit.

What is it about Ohio? Sounds like the Governor and the local politicians completely sold out Ohioans. They need recall elections. Whatever these politicians got wasn’t enough once they realize the illegals will replace them with their own. I doubt treason is the legacy they wanted for themselves.
What choice do the local authorities have – mayors, governors, city/county councils, police chiefs?
None, because liberal judges and demonrats have told them they have no authority over foreign immigrants, it’s a ‘federal law’ issue and they have no authority. Only folks from Martha’s Vineyard are allowed to call in the National Guard to herd them onto buses and deport them to another state.
My guess is – Just as Obama imported thousands of Somalis to Minn to dilute the Republican vote and get Ilhan Omar elected to Congress – Now they are seeking to dilute the conservative/republican voter base in Ohio, to get yet another Demonrat politician elected. That’s how you get Demonrats into offices of power by semi-legal means, importing voters who are going to vote for government assistance programs giving them free stuff that working folks have to pay for.
What choice do they have? They swore an oath to defend the Constitution against enemies foreign and domestic. They have to talk to their constituents and make a stink. Make it loud, make it public. Stand up and be counted. Expose the corruption.
