Emma Stone, Natalie Portman, Andrew Garfield, and other rich celebrities will survive a Trump presidency. They want you to know that so they have put it to song in a video that can only be described as idiotic. They do a horrendously moronic version of “I will survive” and make complete fools of themselves.
Read this phony claptrap about the “dramatic interpretation” from W Magazine:
To that end, Oscar frontrunners (many of them recent Golden Globe honorees) like Emma Stone, Natalie Portman, Amy Adams, Chris Pine, and Taraji P. Henson lend their vocal chops to a reimagining of the 1979 classic. Their dramatic interpretation of “I Will Survive,” part of W’s Best Performances portfolio, is just the antidote for a still-grieving Hollywood, many members of which were outspoken Hillary Clinton supporters over the past year — and a few of whom have found themselves on the unfriendly end of Donald Trump’s Twitter account.
They’ve learned nothing from the elections.
Me singing “I Will Survive” with my rich celeb friends to show we’re gonna survive Trump’s presidency cuz we’re rich celebs. pic.twitter.com/vltkupm4RB
