Swamp Update: Paul Ryan Finally Calls Antifa a “Scourge on Our Country”

Speaker Ryan has finally condemned Antifa, a day after Nancy Pelosi issued a statement condemning them. Ryan was quick to condemn President Trump for not being harsh enough on the KKK and Neo-Nazis. However, Ryan himself didn’t single out Antifa until one of his establishment friends came out.

You can be sure he will never condemn the violent Black Lives Matter. His spokesperson said this Wednesday:

“Speaker Ryan believes, as is obvious, these individuals are left-wing thugs, and those who are committing violence need to be arrested and prosecuted. Antifa is a scourge on our country,” Ryan’s spokeswoman AshLee Strong said.

Nancy released her statement Tuesday which included this: “Our democracy has no room for inciting violence or endangering the public, no matter the ideology of those who commit such acts,” the California Democrat said in a statement. “The violent actions of people calling themselves antifa in Berkeley this weekend deserve unequivocal condemnation, and the perpetrators should be arrested and prosecuted.”

All along Antifa has been beating right-wing protesters who were not KKK or Nazis. Antifa have advertised themselves as the paramilitary branch of the communist party and are demanding the U.S. become “ungovernable”.

Crickets from the swamp!

Instead, he embarrassed Trump as much as he could over Charlottesville. In one tweet, he called the right-wing extremists a “scourge”. He likes that word.

The swamp critter said the President “messed up” on Charlottesville. We need “moral clarity” Speaker Ryan said. But we need it from him. He has trouble with his spine – he doesn’t have one. Why didn’t he object to the “vile, repugnant bigotry” of Antifa until Nancy did?

Paul Ryan defies gravity and science every day. I wonder how a tall man like him can stand up without a spine!

I forgot to mention this in the beginning.

Go to Amazon and do a search for Antifa. I suppose I shouldn’t have been surprised at the result.

Maybe I sit around thinking too much, but I had a thought.

Now that Ryan, or rather his “spokesman”, has condemned this violence perpetrated by the left, as in alt-Left, we come to the conclusion that he NOW agrees with Trump and his statement both were at fault.

In typical fashion it has become an axiom that Trump is nearly always ahead in these matters even though initially he is scorned and mocked but has, in typical fashion, the ‘last laugh’.

I assumed he made the statement. Well, what do you know, he didn’t even have the guts to ‘come out’ and make the statement himself. Oh, he so magnanimous isn’t he.

I began to listen to that clip and by the time the first questioner came up I closed it. Just his mannerisms alone are enough to turn my stomach.
