Welcome to Animal Farm. European scientists successfully developed a chimera, a viable pig-human embryo. It was an animal with human organs.
During the winners and losers segment of Fox News’s Special Report, Charles Krauthammer chose Vice President Michael Pence as the winner for his thoughtful speech during the March for Life in D.C. today. Loser, he said, is the human race because of the pig-human created by European scientists.
The Fox News pundit and Pulitzer Prize winning author said it’s apocalyptic. He’s likely considering the lack of ethics that guides these scientific discoveries in our modern society.
KRAUTHAMMER: “Winner is Mike Pence. When Trump runs into trouble as he did early this week, see the rambling speech, looking at Pence, wonderful at the March, reassuring. He always wins by comparison. The loser, I hate to be apocalyptic, is the human race. We just had the worst news of the European scientists have announced the creation of a pig-humankind marrow, produced a creature that is part human, part pig. So when –“
BAIER: “Do we have a picture of this?”
KRAUTHAMMER: “You don’t grow it to the size where it actually can be boring. They want to use it to grow human organs in pigs. But the implications of this are simply staggering. We shouldn’t be doing anything near this despite the fact that it holds out some promise for making spare parts create if you’re not scared by this, you don’t understand what is going on.”
Our society isn’t very ethical. This is a society where many have no regard for the life of a full-term baby in the womb nor does it care if babies are genetically-engineered through aborting the babies without the desire traits.

The Importance of Prayer: How a Christian Gold Company Stands Out by Defending Americans’ Retirement
The process for the creation of the pig-human involved injecting human stem cells into young pig embryos, which were then placed in surrogate cows. Of the more than 2,000 embryos, only 186 turned into chimeras – largely pig, with human elements in 1 out of 10,000 cells.
After 28 days of a pig’s 112-day pregnancy, the pig-humans were removed as scientists say the embryos had developed enough for them to study in what way the cells mix together without raising ethical concerns about mature chimeric animals.
For now!
While this is being used to study diseases, humanized animals, or animals with human brains could pose a threat to humanity.
Do you see this as an existential threat” It could revolutionize healthcare but will it become a weapon of mass destruction?
