Which makes sense; to go under a bridge you come at at it at a 90 degree angle , or what is called perpendicular. Took a bit to analyze the video; the camera taking the video is on the opposite side of the bridge from the ship. As you look at the video of the ship, the pile (also known as beam, footing, and pier) supporting the bridge are right side of the ship.
