This is why Trump supporters believe the election was stolen

I was perusing some websites this morning when I came upon Wayne Dupree’s. One of his site’s authors came up with one of the best explanations as to why Trump supporters believe the 2020 presidential election was corrupt. She got the explanation from a Twitter user.

It is a great explanation and I thought our readers might want to see it. So here it is (summarized from tweets):

Ms. Crane spoke with many Boomer Trump supporters who believe the 2020 election was fraudulent. She said their view matched that at the Capitol on J6, perhaps even that of Donald Trump himself.

Most believe some or all “of the theories involving midnight ballots, voting machines,” and so on, but, while they’ll defend those positions with information “from Hannity or Breitbart or whatever, they’re not particularly attached to them.”

Here are the facts – actual, confirmed facts – that shape their perspective:

The FBI and others spied on the 2016 Trump campaign using evidence manufactured by the Clinton campaign. We now know that all involved knew it was fake from Day 1 (see: Brennan’s July 2016 memo as an example).

These are Tea Party people. The types who give their kids a pocket Constitution for their birthday and have Founding Father’s memes in their bios. The intel community spying on a presidential campaign using fake evidence (including forged documents) is a big deal to them.

Everyone involved in the Russiagate conspiracy lied about their involvement as long as they could. We only learned the DNC paid for the manufactured evidence (the so-called dossier) because of a court order. Comey denied on TV knowing the DNC paid for the dossier, even though emails from a year earlier proved he knew.

This was true with everyone involved, from CIA Director Brennan and Adam Schiff. They were on TV saying they’d seen clear evidence of collusion with Russia. At the same time, they lied publicly, those involved admitted under oath, behind closed doors that they hadn’t seen any clear evidence of Russia collusion – all the way down the line. Not one saw evidence of collusion.

At first, many Trump supporters were worried there must be some collusion because it was hard to believe that every media and intelligence agency would make it up out of nothing. “When it was clear that they had made it up, people expected a reckoning.” There was none and it “shed many illusions about their gov’t when it didn’t happen.”

We know as fact:

a) The Steele dossier was the sole evidence used to justify spying on the Trump campaign,

b) The FBI knew the Steele dossier was a DNC operation,

c) Steele’s source told the FBI the information was unserious,

d) they did not inform the court of any of this and kept spying.

Trump supporters know the collusion case front and back. They went from worrying the collusion must be real to suspecting it might be fake to realizing it was a scam, then watched as every institution – agencies, the press, Congress, academia – gaslighted them for another year.

Worse, collusion was used to scare people away from working in the administration. They knew their entire lives would be investigated. Many quit because they were being bankrupted by legal fees. The DoJ, press, and government destroyed lives and actively subverted an elected administration.

This is where people whose political identity was largely defined by a naive belief in what they learned in civics class began to see the outline of a regime that crossed all institutional boundaries. It had stepped out of the shadows to unite against an interloper.

It’s hard to describe to people on the left (who are used to thinking of government as a conspiracy — Watergate, COINTELPRO, WMD, etc.) how shocking and disillusioning this was for people who encourage their sons to enlist in the Army and hate people who don’t stand for the Anthem.

They could have managed the shock if it only involved the government. But the behavior of the corporate press is really what radicalized them. They hate journalists more than they hate any politician or government official because they feel most betrayed by them.

The idea that the press is driven by ratings and sensationalism became untenable. If that were true, they’d be all over the Epstein story. The corporate press is the propaganda arm of the regime they now see clearly. Nothing anyone says will ever make them unsee that, period.

This is profoundly disorienting. Many of them don’t know for certain whether ballots were faked in November 2020, but they know with absolute certainty that the press, the FBI, and so on would lie to them if there was. They have every reason to believe that, and it’s probably true.

They watched the press behave like animals for four years. Tens of millions of people will always see Kavanaugh as a gang rapist, based on nothing, because of CNN. And CNN seems proud of that. They led a lynch mob against a high school kid. They cheered on a summer of riots.

They always claimed the media had a liberal bias, fine, whatever. They still thought the press would admit the truth if they were cornered. Now they don’t. It’s a different thing to watch them invent stories out of whole cloth in order to destroy regular lives and spark mass violence.

Time Magazine told us that during the 2020 riots, there were weekly conference calls involving, among others, leaders of the protests, the local officials who refused to stop them, and media people who framed them for political effect. In Ukraine, we call that a color revolution.

Throughout the summer, Democrat governors took advantage of COVID to change voting procedures. It wasn’t just the mail-ins (they lowered signature matching standards, etc). After the collusion scam, the fake impeachment, Trump people expected shenanigans at that point.

With regard to the “fake impeachment”, we now know that Trump’s request for Ukraine to cooperate with the DOJ regarding Biden’s financial activities in Ukraine was in support of an active investigation being pursued by the FBI and Ukraine AG at the time. President Trump’s request was completely legitimate.

Then you get the Hunter laptop scandal. Big Tech ran a full-on censorship campaign against a major newspaper to protect a political candidate. Period. Everyone knows it, all of the Tech companies now admit it was a “mistake” – but, ya know, the election’s over, so who cares?

If the NY Times had Don Jr’s laptop, full of pictures of him smoking crack, engaging in group sex, with lots of lurid family drama, emails describing direct corruption, and backed up by the CEO of the company they were using, it would have been a different story.

Stories about Trump and Russian prostitutes and blackmailed by Putin were promoted as fact. The only evidence was a document paid for by his opposition and disavowed by its source. The NY Post was banned for reporting this factual information.

The reaction of Trump people to all this was “not fair!” That’s how they felt about Romney’s “binders of women” in 2012. This is different. Now they see, correctly, that every institution is captured by people who will use any means to exclude them from the political process.

And yet they showed up in record numbers to vote. Donald Trump received more votes than in 2016, 10 million more than Clinton received. As election night dragged on, Trump supporters allowed themselves some hope. But when the four critical swing states (and only those states) went dark at midnight, they knew.

Over the ensuing weeks, they were shuffled around by grifters and media scam artists selling them conspiracy theories. They latched onto one, then another, increasingly absurd theories as they tried to put a concrete name on something very real.

Media and Big Tech did everything they could to make things worse. Everything about the election was strange – the changes to procedure, unprecedented mail-in voting, the delays, etc – but rather than admit that and make everything transparent, they banned discussion of it (even in direct messaging).

Even the courts’ refusal of the cases meant nothing. Trump supporters say, with good reason, What judge will stick his neck out for Trump knowing he’ll be destroyed in the media as a violent mob burns down his house?

It’s a fact, according to Time Magazine, that mass riots were planned in cities across the country if Trump won. Sure, they were “protests”, but they were planned by the same people who rioted during the summer, and everyone knows what it would have meant. Judges have families, too.

Forget the ballot conspiracies. It’s a fact that governors used COVID to unconstitutionally alter election procedures (the Constitution states that only legislatures can do so) to help Biden to make up for a massive enthusiasm gap by gaming the mail-in ballot system.

Trump supporters knew it was unconstitutional. It’s right there in plain English. But they knew the cases wouldn’t see the court until after the election. And what judge will toss millions of ballots because a governor broke the rules? The threat of mass riots wasn’t implied, it was direct.

a) The entrenched bureaucracy and security state subverted Trump from Day 1,

b) The press is part of the operation,

c) Election rules were changed,

d) Big Tech censors opposition,

e) Political violence is legitimized & encouraged,

f) Trump is banned from social media.

Trump supporters were led down some rabbit holes, but they are absolutely right that their government is monopolized by a regime that believes they are beneath representation and will observe no limits to keep them getting it. Trump fans should be happy he lost — it might’ve kept him alive.

[Excellent explanation. Plus, how in the world could 81 million people vote for Dementia Joe?]

If you follow the Science, it’s clear that 20,000,000 Votes were manufactured out of thin air and almost all were for Traitor Joe! Almost everywhere Republicans were allowed to watch the count, Democrats lost.

I expected Biden to get a lot of votes, not Because of Biden but rather the hatred that was propagandized throughout. It was made even Worse by Republicans speaking out against Trump anytime he tried to get his agenda through. What’s the public to think when nearly the entire media, all of one party, and a good many from the same party all, in unison, constantly condemn and berate the President.

The media has been the enemy of the people for generations. They were the ones who pushed the “political correct” nonsense back in the 80’s. It just became More ludicrous in each subsequent decade. I’m not so convinced the Democrat party would be as radical today if it weren’t for the media. During the primary debates I noticed a very obvious situation. The candidates started with positions that weren’t terribly radical. It was the media moderators that kept pushing for even more radical positions. Soon every candidate became fully radicalized. If one looks back, this is precisely how the media has worked, decade after decade, becoming more and more radical and extreme. So, were the parties the origin of radicalism, or the media. Who was it that brought in “drag kids” on their morning show. From what we’ve seen in #MeToo results those same media celebrities are likely the biggest radical perverts.

I certainly wouldn’t have questioned the election, but for all questionable events, too numerous to mention. I still want to know what the story is with the video of “Chinese ballots”. Any normal person would be highly suspicious when so many places counted ballots in ‘secret’. It’s been said, you don’t run if you have nothing to hide, and also, if you are hiding something, you are running from exposure to the truth.

Now, we all fully understand why the ChiCom agents masquerading as Democrats are scared of the audits.Once irrefutable evidence is introduced that the election was stolen there is going to be a political upheaval like this nation has never seen since the Civil War. Assuming you have your irrefutable, ironclad evidence, but what are you going to do with it when the ChiCom agents masquerading as the Biden-Harris Administration and their horde of Maoist agents and fellow travellers refuse to concede? The courts have already made it clear they will support the ChiCom agents. They already are removing the law licenses of attornies who challenge the ChiCom coup. Hundreds of mega corporations are sanctioning anyone who speaks up against the ChiCom agents. They’re already holding in federal dungeons hundreds of Patriots who peacefully assembled in D.C. with no bail, isolated, abused, tortured and without competent lawyers.
The ChiComs are ready for us and we are NOT ready for them. GIve these ChiCom thugs another 3 years and they will have consolidated their power to the point they cannot be removed. The match was lit long ago and the fire is about to erupt. In spite of the obstacles to halt the ChiCom takeover 75 million of the most dedicated, hardworking productive Americans are not going to be disenfranchised. Where it goes no one really knows, but I don’t think it’s going to turn out well for the traitors.

There was no explanation why Trump voters believe the election was stolen. Most of the article covered events preceding the election.

Worst of all, I see this silly statement “Forget the ballot conspiracies.” That reveals much about the author. If the election was stolen, it was done with conspiracies, because, more than one person did it together. So, the author does not believe the election was stolen, or more likely, the author is confused.

The author tries to justify judges not following the law because of threats. That is highly unethical, there is no justification for that. The author refers to breaking the rules, in reality, laws were broken by changing them without the legislature. The author does not understand the difference between rules and laws. The author does not mention the obvious role the DOJ played in allowing and covering up the crimes. I think the author is taking the position that lots of things went wrong, but minimizing the actual causes, and justifying unethical behavior, such as throwing ethics out the window due to a threat.
