TikTok Is Back

TikTok is back. ByteDance said it restored the US TikTok based on Donald Trump saying he would approve the 90-day ban on his first day in office.

The AP reports:

Trump said he planned to issue the order to give TikTok’s China-based parent company more time to find an approved buyer before the popular video-sharing platform is subject to a permanent U.S.ban. He announced the move on his Truth Social account as millions of U.S. TikTok users awoke to discover they could no longer access the TikTok app or platform.

Google and Apple removed the app from their digital stores to comply with the law, which required them to do so if TikTok parent company ByteDance didn’t sell its U.S. operation by Sunday. The law, which passed with wide bipartisan support in April, allowed for steep fines for non-compliance.

The Chinese Communist Party controls TikTok, and it can gather too much information on Americans via the app.

Rand Paul joined before it went dark in protest. The bill is vague and could be applied to other foreign apps. The concern is it will be misused against US apps.

Dr. Paul is worried about the idea of banning speech.

Why worry about China?

They already have Armies of H1-B spies in every Technical, Engineering, Medical, Stem, Government, Industrial … “who spy daily” and Inform China on the most important ongoings in this Country, Continually. This is what you get, America, for Charging your Children 150k for a Proper Education! China does not do that to their Children.

Now, Forget Tic-Toc! However, I would rather have China spying on me than the US government. China cannot Hurt Me; however, the US government Can. Most of you think you have nothing to Hide; (NAIVE) because you were conditioned and programmed since Birth to trust your government -BIG MISTAKE.

None of you better need employment, and you all better be Independent in Wealth and Everything; because Government is already sharing your online details with Corporations. You go on a Job interview and your HR person read your Yahoo Comments; before you arrived and they`ll never tell YOU. You just wont get a Job. And, I do not even want to go into the Details for those of you with Government Clearances ( I pissed on mine; but I am Brave) as, they will have every little detail of all your ONLINE activity. Still think you have nothing to Hide? Just wait until they get around to labeling all of you based on your Antisemitism or Political Beliefs. Most of you will be Terrorists.

I have been warning for decades, nobody listens, but I keep doing it, Why? I thought you people believed in FREEDOM. See why I laugh about the FREEDOM! THERE IS NO FREEDOM only the DELUSION of FREEDOM.

I am 100% against banning any app. There has to be a method to prohibit and block CCP spying via the app; do that. Granted, TikTok is a cesspool and has caused an individual’s attention span to vanish after 13 seconds. But then again, look at this country’s public “education” system. It is no worse.

If the app can be cleansed of any CCP influence, control, or intelligence gathering, then it would seem with trustworthy ownership it has earned a market place.
