RT reported that French and Iraqi forces discovered a stash of chemical weapons in an area that was previously controlled by ISIS while they were conducting a sweep of eastern Mosul.
The weapons containing a mustard agent were in three large refrigerated cargo containers. A dozen Russian Surface-to-Air-Missiles were also found.
ISIS has also sought nuclear weapons. They are an existential threat. President Trump thinks the way to fight them is to join forces with our Arab allies and Russia.
Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin spoke officially for the first time Saturday according to the Washington Post. They plan to fight ISIS and terrorism together.
President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to partner in the fight against terrorism and the Arab-Israeli conflict and to forge stronger economic and political ties between their two countries. They also discussed non-proliferation, the Iranian nuclear program and the Korean Penninsula, according to the Kremlin.
The White House also released a press statement which highlighted the fact that the call was an important step to improving the relationship between the two nations.
The LA Times wrote:
…the White House said, “The positive call was a significant start to improving the relationship between the United States and Russia that is in need of repair. Both President Trump and President Putin are hopeful that after today’s call the two sides can move quickly to tackle terrorism and other important issues of mutual concern.”

The Importance of Prayer: How a Christian Gold Company Stands Out by Defending Americans’ Retirement
Trump is going to get pilloried in the press for the way he’s handling Russia.
Charles Krauthammer ripped Trump’s foreign policy on Tucker’s show. The Fox News pundit said we don’t do alliances [NATO] out of charity. That’s what’s wrong with Trump’s America First Vision. Krauthammer hates the president.
He said, “The Russians, Soviets asked themselves that question every day during the 50 years of the Cold War. Would Americans really want to in a nuclear war for East Berlin? We haven’t really been very kind to anybody during the second World War. This is the offense and this is the point of the alliances [NATO]. We don’t do it out of charity. I think that is what wrong with Trump’s America. Vision, foreign relations are a zero-sum game, that they rip off our economy, our generosity, the fact is that when you have allies, and that’s why people have had allies since the pharaohs, you multiply your power at lower cost. This is an enlightened self interest. The Marshall plan was was not charity.”
Krauthammer has been inside the Beltway for a hundred years and doesn’t really get Trump. President Trump won’t abandon NATO.
What do you think of Trump’s policy so far?
