After Two Disgraced DNC Chairs, The Party Looks to a Radical

Rep. Keith Ellison of Minnesota is the top choice of Democrats for position of DNC Chair.

The Democratic National Committee had two disgraced chairs, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz rigged the primary and Donna Brazile gave debate questions to Hillary – then she lied about it. They now want to appoint Keith Ellison who has very radical ties to Islamists and the anti-white separatist group, The Nation of Islam.

His ties to radicals include a close affiliation with anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan and the Muslim Brotherhood.

The Washington Free Beacon published information about Keith Ellison’s secret trip to Mecca though it was first reported back in 2009. The trip cost $13,500 but the Muslim American Society paid for it.

Federal prosecutors said in a 2008 court filing that the group “was founded as the overt arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in America.” A House Ethics Committee investigation later concluded that the trip had to be disclosed as a gift to a public official but Ellison didn’t.

Ellison repeatedly defends CAIR, saying it is “a legally operating organization” that would have been shut down had it done anything wrong. He fails to mention that the FBI severed formal relations with CAIR in about 2007, due to questions about its founders’ ties to the Hamas-support network known as the Palestine Committee.

Court records show that CAIR was created by a Hamas-support network in America created by the Muslim Brotherhood.

In court papers, prosecutors wrote that CAIR was “a participant in an ongoing and ultimately unlawful conspiracy to support a designated terrorist organization, a conspiracy from which CAIR never withdrew.”

Ellison has ties to radical groups like the Nation of Islam and its radical leader, Louis Farrakhan. He worked for him. Ellison once wrote under the names Keith Hakim, Keith X Ellison and Keith Ellison-Muhammad, and supported and defended the Nation of Islam. Ellison actively supported the Nation of Islam’s anti-Semitism.

“The Jews, a small handful, control the movement of this great nation, like a radar controls the movement of a great ship in the waters … the Jews got a stranglehold on the Congress,” Ellison once said, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.

In a Madison Square Garden speech in 1985, Farrakhan warned Jews that “when [God] puts you in the ovens, you’re there forever,” according to Slate.

While speaking to an atheist group in 2007, Ellison suggested former president George W. Bush orchestrated the September 11 terrorist attacks. He later walked that back because he has ambitions.

“It’s almost like the Reichstag fire, kind of reminds me of that,” Ellison said of 9/11. “After the Reichstag was burned, they blamed the Communists for it, and it put the leader [Hitler] of that country in a position where he could basically have authority to do whatever he wanted.”

Some historians theorize that the Nazis were behind the Reichstag fire and that it was a false flag operation, and so certain Republicans took Ellison’s comments as implying that 9/11 was an inside job.

Ellison added that he wouldn’t suggest Bush had a role in the attacks because “you know, that’s how they put you in the nut-ball box — dismiss you.” He eventually said he knew Osama Bin Laden was behind the attacks

Liberal Jewish leaders are very supportive of him and one of their reasons is because he supports the two-state solutionThe two-state solution is no solution at all. Israel would have to give up their most sacred lands and their borders would be indefensible.

Couldn’t the DNC find anyone better?

Scott Johnson of the Powerline blog has followed Ellison’s career for the past ten years and discusses it in this audio. It’s fascinating.
