Professor Sal Mercogliano says foreign registered ships that are not paying USA taxes are requesting US Navy protection in the Red Sea.
The icing on the cake is that Egypt charges around $500k per ship but doesn’t provide Red Sea protection.

Remind me how much oil flows through the area and then into the Suez Canal? When did the US military, and tax payer, become the private security force of the oil industry?
