US Navy Protects the Red Sea with US Tax $$$, Should We?

Professor Sal Mercogliano says foreign registered ships that are not paying USA taxes are requesting US Navy protection in the Red Sea.

The icing on the cake is that Egypt charges around $500k per ship but doesn’t provide Red Sea protection.

Should we use US taxpayer money to protect foreign ships?

Remind me how much oil flows through the area and then into the Suez Canal? When did the US military, and tax payer, become the private security force of the oil industry? Same wasted money garrisoning the rest of the Middle East, to ensure the flow of oil. Perhaps time to remove ourselves from the volatile substance.

No.

I want to know the trend of the attacks. Have the attacks really increased? I want to know who funds the attacks. Is it Iran? Why would I believe it is Iran, since that is the MSM continuous talking point? Isn’t that the MSM which said Trump is a Russian agent for 3 years? Hasn’t our intel funded groups such as Hamas, Al Queda and so on? I see no cause to accept anything which comes from our corrupt government/media complex. It has not demonstrated credibility.

Is it cheaper for US citizens to keep the Red Sea shipping open, or for even more inflation from ships having to go around Africa?
Just curious!
