An Afghan hero who goes under the name of Hafez risked his life to save US lives. He was left behind in Afghanistan even though we know he will be killed by the Taliban. He has been trying to get to the United States for four years. He was Sgt. Dakota Meyer’s translator.

Sgt. Meyer attributes his survival and the survival of men under his command in part to Hafez. Hafez took up arms to fight for US military.

While the administration insists on allowing wholesale citizenship for people who came here illegally, that same administration has done nothing to save Hafez or the other people like him who put their lives on the line to help us.
