Wikileaks has released some of the evidence of the Obama administration’s spying but we know from numerous sources that Barack Obama did spy on friends and enemies alike using the government apparatus in an extraordinary abuse of power.
The most famous surveillance case involved Fox News reporter James Rosen who was accused of being a spy for a foreign government. The lie was used as an excuse to spy on Rosen and his family. The DoJ fought to keep the information secret.
James Rosen said nothing Trump has done comes even close to what Obama did.

Reporter Sharyl Attkisson said in 2014 that her personal computer and CBS laptop were hacked after she began filing stories about Benghazi that were unflattering to the Obama administration. A source who checked her laptop said the hacker used spyware “proprietary to a government agency,” according to an article in the New York Post.
