As far as impounding funds, Hanson said Biden set the precedent and told Ukrainians he wasn’t going to give them $1 billion, as ordered by Congress. Biden also refused to build the wall and wouldn’t spend the money on the wall as appropriated by Congress.
VDH also contrasts the actions of other presidents to demonstrate that nothing Donald Trump is doing with the DOGE is unusual.
He also mentioned something you all probably noticed. Attacking Elon Musk has taken the heat off President Trump.

He is all over the damn place and for what? He called nearly 1m people BUFFOONS that exercised their 1A rights on J6 protesting a now so obviously stolen election – a coup that resulted in deadly consequences for what’s left of our Constitution. I call these people Patriots, not Buffoons like

We do not need any explanation from the RINO classics professor Vic. The executive has the power. We are $36 trillion in debt. We are funding worldwide instability. RINO Vic was never in favor of any of the initiatives in Congress to “shutdown” to reduce spending. He saw those efforts like all RINOs do.

I think every bureaucracy, public or private, needs a hatchet man from time to time to weed out the bad apples, waste and fraud. As far as Biden setting precedence, it is a weak argument. If Biden had murdered millions of Republicans that wouldn’t set precedence for Trump to murder millions of Democrats. Same logic applies but what Trump could do is suspend programs under executive authority if there is enough evidence of for fraud and corruption or fire the entire staff if suspected of wrong doing. Either way the funding is not spent.
