Ben Rhodes, Obama’s conniving foreign policy spokesperson, has an MFA in creative writing from NYU, and is the “Assistant to the President and Deputy National Security Advisor for Strategic Communications and Speechwriting.” Ben Rhodes brother, Dan Rhodes, is the President of CBS News. He boasted of perpetrating a fraud on the American people to the New York Times this past week.
Rhodes’ creativity goes beyond novel writing, his original life goal, into creating fiction out of critically serious foreign policy out of the White House.
He was very creative in rewriting the talking points of Benghazi but he did far worse than that when it came to the nuclear deal.
The New York Times Sunday magazine article, The Aspiring Novelist Who Became Obama’s Foreign Policy Guru, quoted Rhodes bragging about lying to the American people to sell them on the Iran deal. It is online today but will be put out in print Sunday.
Rhodes knew the American people would never buy into the Iran nuclear deal if they had the facts about Obama dealing with the hard-liners in Iran so he lied.
In the narrative that Rhodes shaped, the “story” of the Iran deal began in 2013, when a “moderate” faction inside the Iranian regime led by Hassan Rouhani beat regime “hard-liners” in an election and then began to pursue a policy of “openness.”
The administration was dealing with the hard-liners but they told the public they were dealing with moderates. They knew Rouhani was a hard-liner but they were also dealing directly with the Ayatollah and they were doing it long before any election – two years before.
The Sentinel has slews of articles about this lie but people wanted to believe the White House.
The article written by David Samuels calls it an “innovative campaign” and as a “way for future administrations to explain foreign policy to Congress and the public”.
A lie is now an acceptable way for the nanny government to put through their agenda with an American public too incompetent to handle the truth.
This is from the Sunday magazine:
The way in which most Americans have heard the story of the Iran deal presented — that the Obama administration began seriously engaging with Iranian officials in 2013 in order to take advantage of a new political reality in Iran, which came about because of elections that brought moderates to power in that country — was largely manufactured for the purpose for selling the deal.
Even where the particulars of that story are true, the implications that readers and viewers are encouraged to take away from those particulars are often misleading or false.
The administration counted on the cub news reporters knowing nothing – and they do know nothing – and they were able to sell the lies to them easily. They are young and lack the experience. Rhodes bragged about fooling these 27-year olds.
The White House guided by “quarterback” Rhodes deliberately lied about the timeline also to sell their pablum to the stupid Americans. It was all carefully orchestrated as it was fed to the American people.
Let’s not forget the Iranians knew this was all a lie. This administration conspired with a terrorist nation to fool the American public.
Rhodes and other Obama minions conferenced daily to come up with the deceitful soundbites. They employed digital response and rapid-responses to any opposition. They studied the audiences and the “right-wing Congress.”
“By applying 21st-century data and networking tools to the white-glove world of foreign affairs, the White House was able to track what United States senators and the people who worked for them, and influenced them, were seeing online — and make sure that no potential negative comment passed without a tweet,” said Tanya Somanader, WH digital minion. She boasted of the reporters who retweeted their crapfest of lies.
These WH toadies gave Obama cover who then had plausible deniability even though he was directly involved and managing the lies.
Rhodes gloated over the lies and the Times gleefully reported this.
Fox cable had the Special Report panel discuss it Friday. They didn’t treat it as seriously as we see it. Nothing is a big deal any more. There is no accountability. Bill O’Reilly did take it seriously however and the video report can be seen below.
The NY Times seems proud of this lie, perfectly administered by the Obama administration doing what they do best.
Read all about this donkey fazoo yourself right here. This is what they do in communist nations. Goebbels would be proud, Stalin would be proud, the Castros would be proud.
