“To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize.”
Update: The professor on the margins who is the subject of this article wrote another piece, “FOR US, SELF-PROMOTION IS COMMUNITY PROMOTION”, in which he whines about his oppression. His whimpering over alleged “white privilege” while he holds a tenure-track university position is pathetic. Anyway he linked to this article because it is oppressing him and his brand of liberalism which happens to be racialist and far-left. The only thing really oppressing this privileged professor is himself and his twisted thinking which he probably got from some twisted teachers before him and which he will spread insidiously to future teachers,
A leftist professor from the website Conditionally Accepted linked to my blog in an article describing how conservatives, bigots and Fox News are forcing colleges to shut down the free speech of professors. He said he can’t wait for tenure so he can really say what he thinks and wait until you hear what he says now under threat of not attaining tenure.
If he were the only one, I wouldn’t be concerned, but there are so many in the halls of academia.
For example, I googled Saida Grundy who he references – Grundy is an anti-white racist who made news recently. when I goggled her, there was tremendous support for her – 6 google pages worth – before I started to see real criticisms. Google seems to favor her too. This untenured professor is one of her avid supporters.
Anthony Grollman, is the editor of Conditionally Accepted, which is a leftist website for radical professors who seek change.
He describes himself as a queer, multiracial, fat, US- born cisgender tenure-track professor at a university in the South (the University of Richmond). His other writers are similarly strange and proud of it.
He wants to bring his brand of change to come quickly to the South where he teaches and bemoans the fact that he can’t be more outspoken yet because he isn’t tenured.
Apparently, he’s one of those educators who hides what he is until he receives tenure.
In an article titled “Academic Freedom Won’t Protect Us”, which links to my site, he fears that leftist professors’ free speech is not being protected by their universities when in fact they are the only ones protected.
Grollman is concerned that untenured professors might be in danger of being fired if they say what I believe are clearly factually inaccurate and racist things like the following tweets from Saida Grundy, “for the record, there is NO race outside of Europeans who kidnapped and transported human beings in order to enslave them and their offspring for life”, “in other words, deal with your white sh*t, white people, slavery is a white *YALL* thing, “why is white America so reluctant to identify white college males as a problem population”. She also trolled a white rape victim and told her to “check her privilege” and “go cry somewhere”.
Those comments were actually made by Saida Grundy, an incoming sociology teaching assistant at Boston University. She made many more that were equally unkind.
Grollman defended Saida Grundy and complained that she was painted as a “racist (and sexist) bigot.”
She is a RACIST (SEXIST) BIGOT, but he doesn’t want you to call her that. She only said those things because she knows all about racism against blacks and that’s what the rest of us ignoramuses don’t get, he suggests.
You can read her tweets at SoCawlege.com
The author was greatly displeased that the president of Boston University, a Catholic institution, disowned her racist comments against whites.
He accused the college of racism – of course. “…tolerance appears to be quite low for scholars of color who dare to critique racism and white privilege.”
Is that what she was doing? It sounded more like hate and bigotry to those of us who are not leftists.
If you decry their obvious hatred towards whites, you’re demanding scholars do it the “white way” as he so cleverly put it.
Then there is Grollman’s defense of Professor Tony Brown just for being “honest”. That horrible Fox News!
Brown blamed the Baltimore riots, not on the rampaging criminals, but on the faux leftist crime of “white privilege.”
I don’t doubt there are whites who think they are superior because they’re white but they are few and this ideology of it being a massive problem that permeates society was invented by leftists to stir hatred against whites and keep blacks voting left.
The “honest” Tony Brown called for the full-time surveillance of all white people.
Then there is Grollman’s defense of Dr. Anthea Butler of the University of Pennsylvania whose free speech is also racist and stirs up hate.
She is an Ivy League professor who used the MTV Video Music Awards as an opportunity to send a race-baiting racist message to the world.
Butler, an associate professor of religious studies at the University of Pennsylvania, was frustrated that Ariana Grande won the 2014 award for best pop video for a song called “Problem,” Campus Reform reported. She responded by tweeting: “First they shootin’ us in the streets, and then they taking all the video awards for sorry songs y’all.”
I don’t know what she learned from her religious studies but it’s not good.
Grollman complains about attacks on Dr. Brittney Cooper, assistant professor of Women’s and Gender Studies and Africana Studies at Rutgers University. She is regularly subject to trolling, hate mail, and threats of violence. That’s wrong and unfortunate.
However, that doesn’t mean she makes a lot of sense. She famously said that using the word “thugs” in relation to black thugs in Baltimore is the same as using the “n” word.
She’s a regular contributor to the far, far left rag Salon.com. One article she wrote titled, The right’s made-up God: How bigots invented a white supremacist Jesus, was anti-Religious Freedom Act.
The left thinks wanting to protect religious freedom, so under threat, is an act of war.
About the white man’s God, Cooper incorrectly states: This God isn’t the God that I serve. There is nothing holy, loving, righteous, inclusive, liberatory or theologically sound about him. He might be “biblical” but he’s also an asshole. The Jesus I know, love, talk about and choose to retain was a radical, freedom-loving, justice-seeking, potentially queer (because he was either asexual or a priest married to a prostitute), feminist healer, unimpressed by scripture-quoters and religious law-keepers, seduced neither by power nor evil.
That article had 59K likes on Facebook. A handful of people sent her nasty emails.
Cooper is convinced that a religious freedom act devalues blacks.
Grollman grieves over the firing of Steven Salaita who was taken down by his own actions. He was an associate professor in the American Indian Studies program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). His indoctrination and radical views are viciously critical of Israel, especially its current “massacre” in Gaza.
Salaita was pushing the anti-Semitic BDS movement on campus.
Salaita is the only one on his list who was fired. All the others get to indoctrinate the young for years to come.
That doesn’t satisfy the leftist author of Conditionally Accepted. He wants leftist professors to have the right to say whatever they want while Fox News and conservatives are silenced.
This is what our future under leftists will be like and eventually they will get violent.
