Last Thursday, a White Privilege slide from a PowerPoint presentation was posted on Facebook. It caused a mild furor.
It was part of an Army diversity training workshop given to about 400 military.
The title of the slide was “The luxury of obliviousness”.
One of the points read, “Being able to command the attention of lower-status individuals without having to give it in return is a key aspect of privilege.”
The other point was “Race privilege gives whites little reason to pay a lot of attention to African-Americans or to how white privilege affects them. “To be white in America means never to have to think about it.”
It wasn’t just a slide, it was discussed.
This is a great way to stir up and create racism. In fact, invented white privilege is anti-white racism.
It’s being investigated. The Captain of the battalion said it was not authorized and it wasn’t part of the usual training.
As usual, no one is ever responsible or ever knows how it happened.
White Privilege is a concept invented by a leftist who first put the concept out in an essay in a 1965 pamphlet. The concept was inspired by the Civil Rights movement. The radical communists in the Students for a Democratic Society used the concept of “white skin privilege” to further their cause.
Teaching White Privilege is all the rage in colleges.
