Breaking…Wikileaks Announces Defamation Lawsuit Against CNN

CNN has aired a show in which one of their analysts claims Julian Assange is a pedophile.

Counter-Terrorism Expert Tars Assange with a Salacious Label

WikiLeaks says it intends to sue CNN after a counter-terrorism analyst went on a smear campaign against Julian Assange calling him a ‘pedophile’ on air.

Wikileaks intends to sue CNN for defamation within 48 hours. They are giving them two days to expose the plot accusing Assange of being a pedophile.

Former CIA counter-terrorism analyst Phil Mudd said on air that Assange is a “pedophile who lives in the Ecuadorian embassy in London.”

Why A Lawsuit

The Obama administration has accused Russia of interfering in the US election by sponsoring hacking groups to target the Democratic party.

During the exclusive sit down with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, the WikiLeaks co-founder claimed that a 14-year old “kid” could have hacked the emails of John Podesta, the campaign chair for Hillary Clinton. Assange denied that the Russian state was WikiLeaks’ source for the emails the site leaked from key Democratic party figures.

On CNN’s ‘New Day’ program, presenter Chris Cuomo asked Mudd why he did not agree with Assange’s denial that Russia was the source of leaked Democratic National Committee and Podesta documents.

Mudd responded by saying the Fox News interview “skirted the bottom line [of] do you know if the Russian’s were involved?… not ‘where did you get the information’.”

He suggested Assange did not want to “taint his operation,” before outrageously tarring him a “pedophile who lives in the Ecuadorian embassy in London.”
Listen to Phil Mudd mention the unfounded accusation.

An accusation, reported by the Daily Kos in October and amplified on social media, was that Ecuador removed Assange from the internet because of a UN report that he had sent lewd images and sexually explicit messages to an 8-year-old girl over an obscure dating app. The story was removed from the Daily Kos because it was found to be fake.

There was no such UN report and no such investigation, Buzzfeed reported.
