Wisconsin Supreme Court Suspends Judge Dugan

Judge Hannah Dugan, the Milwaukee judge who helped escort a criminal illegal alien out of her chambers to evade arrest, was temporarily suspended from her job by the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Judge Dugan was charged with a felony and a misdemeanor. To uphold the public trust, the Court temporarily relieved her of her duties.

Judge Dugan was “prohibited from exercising the powers of a circuit court judge in the State of Wisconsin” until further order.

The Court didn’t mention whether she would be paid.

The majority of the Court is sympathetic to her ideology, but they did the right thing.
Dugan’s arraignment is scheduled for May 15, but a trial date may not be set for several months.

Will a jury find a judge guilty? I doubt it, but at least she will be put on trial.

She will likely tell a jury she was acting within her official duties, and lawyers will obscure the truth, casting doubt on her guilt. However, she did break the law, and a jury might not look well upon that.

CNN doesn’t think it looks good for her:

She should loose her job over the violation of trust (of the people). She proved she can’t be trusted to protect the American People.

If she pleads guilty, her career is over. My guess is she wants to make noise and have a trial. But the feds win over 90% of the time. I don’t know if she can get a jury trial. If she does, she could avoid conviction, but it will take a year and cost her plenty. But she will get funders for this. She’ll cost the government millions in a trial. Maybe she will plead guilty if she can avoid jail and retire.

According to recent reports, the Wisconsin Supreme Court’s order does not mention any suspension of her pay, and it has been confirmed that she will continue to receive her annual salary of $174,512 while on administrative leave.

We need the right people to file a bar complaint and take away her license to practice law.

Post the picture of her in handcuffs, her “perp walk’. It is sooo good to see one of them finally answering to justice!

It’s always good to see a lefty get what they deserve but if this is only a temporary suspension and she is still getting paid, I don’t see how this is a victory. More like a paid vacation. If she manages to get off scott free, that will be the ultimate slap in the face.

The other guest commenter that said take away her license gets my vote. We need to make an example out of this POS.

This arrest sent shock waves through the judicial system. The feds were all ready to nab her and they did. Judges know they could be targeted next. It’s an incredible embarrassment to her also. So I call this a win. The feds cannot help it if Milwaukee County wants to pay someone who committed a crime and is not working. I call the County a loser too.

A little grandma had to spent years in prison simply for having prayed in the waiting room of an abortion clinic.

Helping a violent criminal – illegally in the USA – escape from authorities is far FAR more serious, Judge Dugan should spend a few years in prison.

At least as many years as the praying grandma.
