Sean wanted a direct answer from Senator Cruz about the accusation that his team was taking delegates from other candidates during an interview on his radio show yesterday afternoon. Instead of answering, Senator Cruz said that the only people asking the question were hard-core Trump supporters.
After trying in vain to get an answer a second time, Hannity blew up:
“Senator, why do you do this every single time… No, you gotta stop. Every time I have you on the air, and I ask a legitimate question, you try to throw this in my face. I’m getting sick of it. I’ve had you on more than any other candidate on radio and TV. So if I ask you, senator, a legitimate question to explain to the audience, why don’t you just answer it?”
Listen to the entire segment. Cruz does answer the question the third time though he does have a tendency to answer questions indirectly when he doesn’t want to answer them, making him look less straightforward than Donald. Cruz tries to paint Trump as “scared” while he’s answering but that’s ridiculous and no one is buying that.
It should also be mentioned that Cruz is not cheating by scooping up delegates. They were delegates Trump never won which is why they were free. Trump should have tried to do the same thing. There is no cheating whatsoever.
Bound delegates are required to vote for him. No one can steal them and nothing is rigged. In New York, Trump only got 60% of the vote but 95% of the delegates – is that rigged?
Cruz is understandably frustrated. The people are buying into the lie that votes are being stolen.
Cruz makes some good points. Cruz did win with 1.3 million voters in the last five elections. He said the delegates are conservative which is one reason they vote with him. Cruz also said the Trump campaign doesn’t know how to run an election and don’t even show up at these meetings or are confused when they do.
While Cruz lost every district in New York, Trump lost Manhattan, his home town, and he only won 522,938 votes overall. In Texas, Cruz won 1,239,370 in his home state of Texas with five opponents on the slate.
Every poll shows Trump can’t win in a general but it’s too early to make that determination.
We are in serious trouble. If Hillary wins, we face a future that will be even worse. The Youth are voting for a communist-lite candidate who isn’t even appealing. Imagine a handsome, well-spoken communist, further left than Obama? He or she would win.
In New York, Bernie was the choice of over 750,000 voters and Hillary was the pick of over one million. The entire GOP won a little over 850,000. There is no massive rush of Democrats voting for Trump.
If Republicans don’t vote for whoever gets the nomination, we will lose the Supreme Court, our free speech and our Second Amendment, our borders will be open as a matter of policy, and cultural Marxism will complete its march forward.
Trump supporters say they won’t vote for anyone but Trump and mainstream Republicans are saying they won’t vote for Trump. It’s a problem because the alternative is socialism. Get ready for it, it’s coming.
