A White House official told the media including Jake Tapper that President Trump would like to see both sides compromise on an immigration bill. He wants a compromise bill that allows non-violent illegal aliens who work and pay taxes to have a path to legal status. They would not have a path to citizenship except possibly in the case of DREAMers.
This could be fake news.
If true, the devil will be in the details. It might work out but considering the players, it’s concerning.
