I can’t imagine what made me think of this song:
You say you want a revolution. Well, you know, we all want to change the world.
You tell me that it’s evolution, well, you know, we all want to change the world.
But when you talk about destruction, don’t you know that you can count me out?
You say you got a real solution, well, you know, we’d all love to see the plan. You ask me for a contribution, well, you know, we’re all doing what we can. You say you’ll change the constitution, well, you know, we all want to change your head.
You tell me it’s the institution. Well, you know, you better free you mind instead!
We have the Constitution! We have Freedom!
If you want the South African Constitution, free your mind instead!
We are all free as individuals! You say you want a revolution. You say you’d love statism, well, you know, we’d all love to see the plan. It’s not looking good so far.
George Washington had a birthday this week. I hope we can continue to celebrate the freedom he helped win for another 246 years by changing our current situation at the voting booth.
George Washington was a revolutionary for freedom, not for statism, and it would have been inconceivable to him that we would sell the fortune of future generations as we are doing now.
It should be the highest ambition of every American to extend his views beyond himself, and to bear in mind that his conduct will not only affect himself, his country, and his immediate posterity; but that its influence may be co-extensive with the world, and stamp political happiness or misery on ages yet unborn. ~ George Washington
There is a political revolution going on in this country now and we need to meet it with our own political revolution to fundamentally transform our country back!
