There should be a requirement to learn English or speak it; before being allowed to immigrate. This should apply to every nation on Earth. How many of you think you can learn another language , yet along in “fractions of the time” you spent learning English? You`d be unemployable if sent to another country without speaking the language at college level, FIRST! How many Haitians will even be capable of learning English?

At one time when you called customer service for any business that operated in the USA the language that was used was exclusively the English language. Now it prompts you to select your language in a foreign dialect before you get hear anything in English. That should be banned and prohibited from ever happening. That would be a step forwards, not backwards like it has become today.
Most people are unaware that language affects your DNA. It is used in the scientific community for DNA programing. The English language is the most versatile and complex language of all languages. It promotes intelligence compared to other dialects.

I agree 100%. You should have to be able to speak, read and write in English before you can become an American citizen. American English should be made the official language of the USA. No more government documents or telephone prompts for any other language. This alone would take billions off of our national debt and promote unity and assimilation into our American culture. Anybody having a problem with that shouldn’t come here. We should make it hard to become an American citizen. Make them EARN it!
