ABC News local NY radio just said that Democrats will drop the bombshell over the holiday weekend. The bombshell is Biden will withdraw. Dozens of House Democrats are currently passing around a letter demanding Joe withdraw.
The New York Times poll has Donald Trump up by six points. The other significant item in this poll is that 72% of independents think Biden should drop out of the race. Ouch!
The Biden campaign this morning sent their staff a memo to calm their panic about Biden, claiming the race is still tight.
The campaign intentionally sent this memo out before the New York Times poll could come out and told their staffers to ignore it, saying, “We should all keep in mind that, just last week, the NYT themselves acknowledged that they are often a polling outlier…”
BREAKING: President Trump is up by 6 points nationally among likely voters in the latest NYT/Siena poll, his largest lead ever in a NYT poll.

Biden ‘staying in the race’ – White House hits back at speculation
ABC: Biden to Resign This Weekend
Let flip a coin to see which headline is correct.
For the love of God, Maura! Don’t say “resign” when you mean “withdraw from the race.” If Biden were to resign the presidency, the country would have to deal with Kamala Harris, and that’s more than I can deal with before dinner. As it is, the most we can expect is that he won’t continue his campaign for a second term. Among other things, for Biden to resign his office would disappoint Jill too much; she hasn’t yet decided how much she can get away with stealing.
There have been so many lies from the leftist media. I hope he stays but the right decision is to leave (and never have run in 2020).
Notice that Johnson joined the bandwagon that Biden must leave. That is consistent with the assertion that he is a democrat ally. Few republicans have joined in, since they know Biden staying helps them in November. I see no actions of any significance from Johnson which do not help democrats.
If Biden were to quit now, that would start up a fight among about 6 people, which would be divisive. I think the dems prefer a later departure and a backroom arrangement of a replacement, to show unity. Then we would be hit with a 7×24 celebration of the replacement as the second coming. We would see the propaganda techniques at a new level.
