Conservative journalist and X influencer Nick Sortor was mocked by Antifa anarcho-communists outside the ICE facility in Portland last night. He showed up outside the ICE facility to report on the chaos. He took down a burning US flag on a fence and stomped out the fire.
Antifa had assaulted him at one point.
Portland Police arrested Mr. Sortor, who has since been released. They don’t intervene when people are assaulted but this was arrest worthy.
Newsweek phrased it this way: The arrest of Sortor is likely to anger Trump’s supporters and exacerbate tensions in Portland, which has become a focus of the administration’s fight against what it describes as political extremism following the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk in Utah on September 10.
Did they ever for a minute consider that these terrorizing little commie anarchists were the problem?
The Police Report:
In a statement, Portland Police Bureau said officers “observed two men fighting near the ICE building driveway” at around 8:09 p.m. local time and, as they responded, “the fight ended following one participant being knocked to the ground.”
“He did not lose consciousness and never requested medical help. Both involved were detained by federal law enforcement and were later released. Neither party indicated they wanted to make a police report,” police said.
Officers “continued to monitor the situation and responded after seeing additional fights break out,” moving in to make three arrests at around 11:16 p.m..
All three were booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on charges of Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree.
They were named as Angela Davis, 49, of Vernonia, Oregon; Nicholas Sortor, 27, of Washington, DC; and Son Mi Yi, 43, of Portland.
Sortor has not publicly commented on the arrest, but he tweeted earlier this week speculation he might be detained.
Before he went to the area, he posted on X that he was going. “If I defend myself, *I* will be the one who gets arrested. Not the assailant,” Sortor posted to X late Wednesday night, calling Portland a “third world hellhole.”
CNN falsely claimed it was relatively calm until President Trump said he was sending National Guard. That is an easily provable lie. Journalist Katie Daviscourt covered the nonstop Antifa chaos outside the ICE facility on a regular basis. Police are forced to stand down by the criminal politicians running the city and state. Antifa eventually assaulted her.
The Governor and Mayor say everything is great in Portland except for the one block and crime is down.
In the past, prosecutors in Portland routinely declined to pursue cases against people arrested for nonviolent offenses during protests, although the Multnomah County district attorney promised earlier this year to change that policy, The Oregonian reported.
He was assaulted.
WATCH: Nick Sortor gets arrested but we see ANTIFA attacking him.
A journalist said, “Looked like Nick Sortor got jumped… Portland liaison officers stand nearby and watch.”
Nick called it.
