Update
According to CNN, which sometimes gets it right, US Air Force C-17 filed a plan to fly on Wednesday from Kelly Field in San Antonio to Misrata Airport in Libya. C-17s have been used to transport migrants of late.
The White House had no comment. The UN has previously condemned the idea. Since the UN has actively brought illegal aliens in, that’s no surprise.
When President Trump was asked, he said, “I don’t know, you’ll have to ask Homeland Security.”
The State Department declined to comment on deportation plans, saying, “We do not discuss the details of our diplomatic communications with other governments.”
A Libyan General was in D.C. last week, but he said his talks had nothing to do with deportations. It never happened. Everything they talked about was on the official agenda.
Florida is offering beds and emergency responses to detain illegal aliens. He can do 10,000 beds within 72 hours. Shockingly, it’s the only state doing this. Their police are deputized.
Florida has tens of thousands of illegals on deportation lists, and they asked the DHS to let them act independently. He said other red states should do the same.
Original Story
The Trump administration may soon start deporting migrants to Libya, two U.S. officials told CBS News Tuesday.
The deportations, expected to be operated by the U.S. military, could start as early as this week, the officials said, requesting anonymity to discuss internal government plans.
Libya is one of several nations the U.S. government has been asking to accept deportations of migrants from third countries, CBS News reported earlier this week.
The country, itself a corridor for desperate migrants hoping to reach Europe by crossing the Mediterranean Sea, is divided into two factions. The western part is overseen by a United Nations-backed government in Tripoli, while a strongman controls the east. Libya is a short boat ride to Italy.
Libya was the most prosperous African country until Hillary Clinton, against her general’s recommendations, bombed the country into oblivion. She wanted the Muslim Brotherhood to run the country for some reason. Gaddafi had abandoned terrorism for years at that time, and was no threat to the United States. Gaddafi was tortured and murdered.
The administration has already persuaded several Latin American countries to accept third-country nationals, sending Asian and African migrants to Costa Rica and Panama, as well as a group of Venezuelan men accused of gang membership to El Salvador, which transferred them to a notorious mega prison.
According to a CBS report, if you can believe them, the Trump administration has also allegedly sought to broker deportation agreements with countries on other continents, including Africa and Europe, such as Angola, Benin, Eswatini, Moldova, and Rwanda.
People from all over the world came into the country. Many are African, and some are European.
We have monsters in this country, and President Trump is willing to send them anywhere to get rid of them. Democrats want them here.
Stephen Colbert, like many prominent Democrats, couldn’t stop talking about the plight of migrant children during Trump’s first term.
