Donald Trump was recently asked about the safety of the COVID-19 vaccines, and his interview has some supporters or potential supporters turning against him.
Some say he downplayed safety concerns. They were put off when he said he saved “100 million people” worldwide and boasted that he rushed the FDA.
Dr. Robert Malone and others want him to address the safety concerns differently. They say he will lose votes. Many believe he is getting bad advice.

Brody: The CDC is now saying they’re concerned about a link to strokes and the vaccine. We’ve also seen significant spikes in COVID-19 deaths after countries introduced the COVID vaccines. We’ve had these sudden death spikes as well. Look, I know you take credit for getting vaccines to the American people in record time; I got that. Will you acknowledge now, though that the COVID-19 vaccines were not as safe or effective as we were told by the medical community at the time?
Trump: Well, what I did is, first of all, there were no mandates with me – and I had absolutely no mandates – and the governors we allow to do what they want. Most Republican Governors did the right thing, and most Democrat governors didn’t. You know, with the lockdowns and all the other things they did, including their views of the vaccine.
I was able to get something approved that, you know, has proven to have saved a lot of lives. Some people say that I saved 100 million lives worldwide. But I was able to get that done in 9 months versus five years to 12 years if it ever got done. I got the FDA to do things that they – it was pretty amazing what we were able to do.
But as far as using it, as far as utilization, I never demanded anybody use it – I never had a mandate, and I think that’s very important to know. I never had anybody, for instance, when I said, you know, I never said close up. I never said we’re going to close our country up. A lot of Republicans, now Florida, did close for a period of time, as you know. But a lot of states run by Republican Governors didn’t close at all, and that was okay with me. I let them make that decision.
Brody: What about the safety aspect? That’s what people are concerned about now. Do you have some concerns about the safety of these vaccines?
Trump: Well, I always do, but you have to understand. There are the pros and cons. You can read some reports saying it was the greatest thing that ever happened, and we saved tens of millions of lives. Then you read other reports you’ll say that there were some problems with the vaccines in terms of certain things – but relatively small numbers. But, you know, you have many reports that say the vaccines save tens of millions of lives. That without the vaccines, you wouldn’t have had a thing like we had in 1917, where perhaps 100 million people died.
WHAT ABOUT NEXT TIME?
I remember when Donald Trump wanted to form a commission to study the adverse effects of vaccines. It would help if he addressed how he’d handle it next time around.

If he didn’t listen to Fauci he was murdering millions of Americans, and when he did listen to Fauci everyone who died was on his Watch and his fault. Trump fast tracked vaccines, but never made them mandatory. For many people with compromised immune systems the experimental vaccine may have been a better option; but under Trump, it was their choice!

The Truth is Trump was for Choice, and Democrats were for Mandates! Democrat Mandates have compromised the health of Billions of People around the World.
We are now in a situation with Big Government, in which Trillions of dollars are at stake, where the Government picks Winners and Losers. The Deep State Bureaucrats MUST BE disbanded and winners and losers must be picked by a free market again. The Federal Government in America was never supposed to have the power it has.
President Trump is not losing support, that is malicious propaganda. From Day One President Trump resisted Federal Government Mandates as he knew that the Federal Government didn’t have the Power. Trump didn’t strong arm business into imposing mandates, Traitor Joe and the Democrats did that.
What I see is President Trump is gaining support in almost every corner, except the corner where the 20% of Proud Democrat Psychopaths hide. People are feeling the pain of Democrat Incompetence and want a Proven Competent President back in the White House. That means Trump! There is no other choice.
As a Trump supporter I’m disappointed. He’s either receiving bad info or his ego won’t allow him to examine things differently. If Trump and DeSantis are in the primary, I’m leaning DeSantis but if Trump is GOP Candidate I’ll vote for him with reluctance if he’s still bragging about Operation Warp Speed. He was scammed along with many Americans. Because of his associations I’m not convinced he knows who our internal enemies are.

Dear Mr. President,
I proudly watched as you revolutionized the presidency by bringing a decidedly non-political approach to the leadership of the USA with a goal of reducing the swamp and governing for all of the great citizens of our country, even the highly disadvantages. You literally started to make America great again.
When the Covid crisis came, I sensed your mission remained the same. For the sake of people world-wide and especially for the sake of American citizens both rich and poor, you did everything you could to get acceptable vaccines in the pipeline.
What you could not foresee was the swam was wounded and angry. Part of the swamp was the collusion of big business with the bureaucracy. Some amoral corporate leaders saw big profits and ruthlessly went about getting them. To achieve their goals they needed mandates and they needed control of the press. A small USA company, Novavax, used to combatting hemorrhagic fevers, came up with a great vaccine. Big pharm, wanting to use the research of similarly amoral people with the heart of a Dr. Mengele, people who loved to see other humans as test subjects for their desire to change basics genetics in humans to make people what they wanted them to be), used their friends to keep the opposition from full approval while their lied about vaccine with fake test results made them rich.
It certainly seemed to go that way too, here in Australia, with the vaccine with the best test results and safest for the patient, got constantly delayed in the approval process.
I would advise you, proud as you should be of your efforts to get the vaccine to the people, while acknowledging your role, come out and point out how un-American the totalitarian mandates were and that it was a corrupted swamp bureaucracy that loosed the terrors of mRNA on the world.
Publicly acknowledge and support sites like the Independent Sentinel that are not afraid to proclaim the truth. It is the truth that we can find the greatest freedom.
If you are seeking to become President again by using old time politics, I will not support you. If you are the man I believed you to be and voted for twice to be president, I will do all in my power to support the effort, and vote for you again with joy in my heart.
Trump loses some votes over it, over his support of McCarthy (0 hearings, 0 indictments, 3 weeks in), and over his friendship with corrupt RINOs such as Graham. People are giving up, partly due to the rejection of the failed GOP. Trump can win the nomination, but cannot win the election, with the 6 key states having established election crime operations. Someone should ask Trump how he plans to win given the massive and effective election crime operation.
