JD Vance explained why the B-52 bombers were pulled out of RAF Fairford after the potential Iranian threat was averted. The British authorities reportedly couldn’t keep the terrorists locked up.
AMERICA PULLED ITS BOMBERS BECAUSE BRITAIN COULDN’T KEEP THE SUSPECTS LOCKED UP.
Six people were arrested over an alleged plot against RAF Fairford, British officials say Iran likely had a hand in it, and every one of them was released on bail.
JD Vance is right to put our crews first. No American asset should sit next to a threat our ally won’t take seriously.

President Trump said the threat lingered, and the B-52s had to be moved around.
“We had an idea that there might be a threat,” Trump said shortly before departing the White House for a campaign stop in Grand Island, Nebraska.
“And why would I leave them there? It cost very little money to move them, you know, relatively closely. But no, we had a threat, and if we’re going to be threatened, we’ll just move them, and that sort of alleviates that.”
He wondered how you give bail to a terrorist.
Since the United Kingdom essentially did NOTHING with the 6 terror suspects targeting our B-1 bomber base in their country … except RELEASE THEM … President Trump is pulling all our B-1bombers out of their country.
Why do we want to be in a country when our allies can’t even secure their own country … and they are seen to be pandering to the terrorists?!
Our US Air Force’s urgent withdrawal of all 12 B-1 bombers from RAF Fairford, UK, on October 4, 2026, was due to new intelligence on an Iran-backed terror plot against the base used for strikes on Iran.
Six suspects … including five British men in their 20s from London and a 25-year-old dual UK-Iranian national … were arrested near the base in late September after suspicious vans were reported.
Police found petrol but no explosives, leading to all being released on bail under strict conditions while the investigation continues. Essentially they let them all disappear!
The move underscores US prioritization of troop and asset protection amid UK counterterrorism efforts, with officials citing strong indications of Iranian involvement in a context of heightened European base threats following recent Middle East operations.
