Zohran’s own commission recommended 18.2% wage increases for him and his comrades after the state had to borrow $8 billion from NY state taxpayers to balance the budget.
Mayor Zohran will make over $300,000 annually to destroy New York City. He has said he won’t accept a pay increase in his first term. We will see, but he is the son of very rich parents and doesn’t need it. The rest of his crew will gladly take the raise. It even covers the boroughs and the rabble-rousing Jumane Williams.
It is meant to account for inflation, which allegedly rose 31% since 2016. The left likes to include President Trump’s first term, although he kept inflation low. It was Biden’s term that created the runaway inflation.
Zohran campaigned on affordability and is giving his allies nice big raises as recommended by the three-person panel he appointed.
