President Trump held a rally last night and invited a family up to the podium to speak about how much the ‘no tax on tips’ meant to their family. When the mother Sandra stepped up to speak, her toddler started heading for the stage.
Grandpa Trump quickly stepped around and over, to gently intercept the youngster and guide him back to safety before turning to the crowd with a comment that made everyone laugh.
“I don’t want him to be Biden and fall off the stage.”
The audience laughed good naturedly.
The lighthearted jab reminded everyone of former President Joe Biden’s frequent stumbles.
The family’s youngest child wasn’t done.
After Sandra told Trump, “He did want to say a little something to you, Mr. President,” Trump encouraged the little boy to speak into the microphone.
Following a little coaching from his mother, the toddler proudly declared:
“Thank you for my Trump Account.”
The crowd responded with another round of laughter and applause.
Trump smiled, clapped and replied: “Good job.”
