Reporter Nick Sortor said these people need to be hit with major charges. Police believe he was ripping up pieces of the pool, damaging it further.
Park Police allege that the person was ripping the bottom of the pool with his hands. It is unknown if the item was floating when the person tried to collect it. Oklahoma City police and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office were with the Park police during the detention. Idaho Falls Oklahoma City, state police, and Park police are at the Reflecting Pool as officials continue to guard it during algae removal.
The next person appears to be wearing an Antifa sweatshirt. He was stopped for riding a banned bike.
