Attorney Nyadol Nyuon is the daughter of a Sudanese warlord accused of horrific crimes against humanity. Her father, William Nyuon, is accused of ordering the execution of UN aid workers.
Multiple academic history books, as well as reports by Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch, accuse William Nyuon Bany of heinous war crimes, including attacks on refugee camps and the mass starvation of child soldiers.
He also has ties to bin Laden.

Australia’s state broadcaster ABC News decided this week to boost the daughter of a brutal Sudanese warlord and child slaver allied with Joseph Kony and pro-Bin Laden forces.
Selected to appear on a debate panel to argue in support of migration, South Sudanese-Australian lawyer Nyadol Nyuon argued that white Australians had no distinct culture of their own – before boasting that she had no intention of ever assimilating.
‘‘I’m not trying to accuse anyone here of necessarily being racist, I just think that if we start talking about terms like Anglo-Celtic and stuff, it creates this idea that there is some form of white culture that exists somewhere that can then be recreated here in Australia.’’
‘‘But there is no white culture — there is Italian culture, there is French culture, there is Argentinian culture, but there is not this notion of sort of a white culture that is being threatened.’’
She then added helpfully: “I can say truthfully … I have no intention of assimilating.’’
