“Nothing says commitment to reform like heads on pikes,” Jonathan Turley said wryly about Michigan Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed’s latest violent rhetoric.
When he isn’t talking about “choking out” opponents and campaigning with virulent anti-Semitic communists like Hasan Piker, he’s calling John Fetterman an “ogre” and putting the ogre’s “head on a pike.”
El-Sayed declared during a Zoom call, “Ideally, you put one ogre on a pike, and then everyone else gets the message.” Most people believe he meant Stevens, who was standing next to him at the debate.
But he pivoted and said he only meant “a guy named John Fetterman.”
Nice pivot. He still wants to put a head on a pike, but he wants it to be John Fetterman’s. So much better.
El-S said Fetterman threw his liberal values “in the mud.” Even if that were true, heads on pikes are dated forms of disagreement.
Also, Fetterman is liberal. El-S is a communist. Just look at his agenda and who is backing him: DSA, Hasan Piker, and other communists.
Fetterman, who votes 93% with Democrats, responded:

The rhetoric from the Left, as it moves further and further into communism, is also becoming more irrational and violent. Jonathan Turley points out how our current establishment brought this on with their own violent rhetoric.
Communism and socialism are ideologies of mob rule, and they quickly descend into violence. If Democrats keep this up, this is where we will go.
