We are heading in the same direction as Berlin, so take this article as a cautionary tale.
Die Linke, the Left Party, won 25.7% of the vote in Berlin. That is astounding, given how power is apportioned in Germany. Eugyppius of The Plague Chronicle posted five of their irrational, illogical platform items.
- The Berlin Linke calls for replacing or supplementing policing with “social work” wherever possible. They want fewer police with no tasers, and they want to abolish so-called “gun-free zones.”
- They want to repeal the prohibition on face coverings and defensive weapons at protests.
- They call for the State Office for the Protection of the Constitution to be abolished as an intelligence agency. The successor agency should still monitor political extremism, but purely from publicly available sources.
- They believe squatters should acquire ownership of their dwellings after occupying them for a single year.
- They demand an end to fines and punishments for fare evaders and also the elimination of the criminal statute that prohibits fare evasion in the first place.
It’s crazy how much they sound like the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), who are now communists, only worse. The Linke clearly want to be armed while disarming the police, so there is some logic in their thinking. The Linkes certainly don’t want an intelligence agency around. They want to ride for free and become owners of anything they squat in for a year. Most would call the latter thievery.
They claim they are the alternative for a better future. They are anti-capitalist and believers in extreme climate change. Like the Democratic Socialists of America (communist), they declare:
We proceed from the traditions of democracy and socialism, of the struggles for human rights and emancipation, against fascism and racism, imperialism and militarism. We want to overcome all social relationships in which people are exploited, disenfranchised and deprived of the right to make their own decisions and in which the social and natural foundations of their lives are destroyed.
Worse Than Communists
They want to completely destroy a perfectly fine and successful country to return to communism under Russian occupation, with even more ideologies interwoven.
DIE LINKE builds on the left democratic positions and traditions of the socialist, social democratic and communist labour movements and feminist and other emancipation movements. We combine political experience from the German Democratic Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany.
Add gender ideology and a classless society to that. Of course, this has all been tried and failed with the deaths of millions, but let’s do it again, shall we? The biggest joke is that they claim they are democratic, just like the DSA in the USA. In fact, in one part of their manifesto, they call themselves Democratic Socialists. They say they are fighting for the DSA.
They call themselves socialists, but it’s more in Maduro’s or Castro’s vision. Isn’t it amazing how all these radical movements destroying the West in real time, in public view, have adopted the same insane woke agenda?
The Utopian Collective
They plan to end poverty and wars without much of a plan. It’s the collective on speed, with no freedom, while they scream that it is for freedom. Apparently, they have “free access to knowledge,” which might explain how they will get us all there without putting us in a gulag or killing us, but I am not interested in reading it.

It’s so sad, and what is even sadder is that it is happening throughout the West, including the United States, and half the country doesn’t know it.
I wouldn’t bet on the West surviving, but never give up hope and pray for an awakening. It is still not too late. Better yet, get involved and help stop this. If everyone got involved in their local communities, we could stop it. Watch Germany and learn.
We also have a little Nazism thrown in. Jews are no longer safe with this party. The whole reason for making Jews a public enemy is to force their agenda through.
