The Black Lives Matter racists are demanding justice for Karmelo Anthony, who murdered a white boy in cold blood without provocation. All 21 witnesses testified that Karmelo was looking for trouble. A black boy murdered a white boy, and BLM is claiming that the black boy, Karmelo, is the victim. That is what they always do. The BLM types usually start riots or make a lot of money from these distortions, especially if the police are involved. Far-left Democrats support them. Whether they will succeed here is a question.
The witnesses included black coaches and players, and the jury was mixed race. All the witnesses confirmed Karmelo’s guilt, and the jury returned a unanimous verdict quickly.
There was no question of Karmelo’s guilt. However, the race-grifters of Black Lives Matter have been making cases out of thin air for years, no matter the evidence. This case is probably the most egregious effort. They seem to want a race war.
Racist members of BLM or those who use them don’t want any black person ever punished for anything. There is no sympathy for the murdered boy, Austin, or his devastated family. Austin Metcalf was popular, a good student and athlete, and a good kid.
Additionally, Karmelo had competent lawyers, not court-appointed lawyers.
Karmelo’s parents didn’t even show up for his sentencing.
This is the kind of person we are dealing with. The case had nothing to do with race:
