CNN’s Boris Sanchez took on DSA’s top leader, Ashik Siddique over the DSA’s recent statement commemorating monster Fidel Castro. The statement from the DSA described Castro as an “organizer” and “fighter” who “endures as a stalwart symbol of anti-imperialist struggle and self-determination for the Global South.” The party said they stand by Cuba and their “revolution.”
They called for an end to Cuban blockades and for Secretary of State Marco Rubio to be prosecuted for “crimes against humanity,” accusing him and President Donald Trump of waging an “indiscriminate war” against Cuba.
The host understood his disagreement with the administration’s policy since it is CNN, but he couldn’t understand the praise of Fidel.
Sanchez hit Ashik Siddique with his own family story. The CNN host said that Fidel Castro locked Sanchez’s grandfather up for 20 years for merely speaking his mind. Siddique didn’t respond appropriately, and the wide-eyed oddball appears to be in a perpetual state of stage fright.
It’s reasonable to assume these DSA communists are very ignorant, shockingly so. A college education doesn’t seem to help.
Siddique went back to slamming the administration, claiming people are suffering under inequality. The DSA is co-opting the affordability and inequality, hate the rich message, but all they really want is to make the USA into a communist state.
This is absolutely insane, must-watch clip.

Here is another DSA hero, Hassan Piker:
“I love Lenin. I love Fidel Castro and I love Che Guevara. They are genuinely fucking heroes. Adjusted to their time, they were unbelievable saints, even more so than Mao.”
